Life is a gift 🎁 and tonight we celebrated this woman. Jenny found out 5 years ago that she had stage 4 brain cancer. Her sweet friends Nicole and Chris put together such a beautiful evening. Jenny had the people around her that have gone on this journey with her. She shared stories, was prayed over, broke bread, & laughed a lot. One of the things she shared (which I think is super important) is that she was lucky to find out she had the tumor. Here’s the story (as told by Jenny)
5 years ago:
One of my students saw Jenny and mistook her for someone else “hey do you take Coco’s 6 am class?”
Jenny-“No! But I should! She’s always telling me too.”
That day Jenny text me “Hey I guess I’m coming to your class tomorrow”
I was like “woo hoo! Finally!”
Jenny came to about 4 or 5 classes. She jumped rope, ran and so on. Then she didn’t come for a few days. I checked up on her and she was having some severe headaches. Long story short she went to the doctor and that’s when they found the tumor. The doctor said that coming to Boot Camp brought the tumor to the surface. It was already stage 4. He said if she hadn’t have come it would have gone undetected and who knows...
Exercise is key to so much more than weight-loss you guys! Show up! Don’t be sedentary. Find what you love and cherish your body 💗
Jenny has taught us all so much through her journey and perseverance. God is so wonderful at putting the right people in our path.
P.S. she’s also been on Juice Plus since her diagnosis. And her circle of love around her is VERY strong ❤️💗💜💙🧡🙏🏻 #godissogood#grateful#plantsheal#exercisesaveslives#cococrew#glorytogodforever

•We really are a product of the environment we live in.
•What we put IN our bodies Matters greatly
•What we put ON our bodies matters greatly
•ALL things are connected
Some of you may or may not know this, but I have a major fear of heights, specifically bridges. I don’t even like the carpool connection from the 5 to the 55 freeway! Well, this morning I was at a team-building exercise with my networking group. We went through several different activities before the biggie: walking the tightrope! The activities put you in several problemsolving situations that require some walls to come down, some vulnerable sides get exposed, but your strengths shine through, too. One of my networking buddies Theresa and I bonded over our common fear of bridges and decided to partner up. I’ve known these people for less than a month and I’ve only spoken to Theresa 3 times, tops. But somehow we found the courage in each other to have a breakthrough as we faced our fear of heights TOGETHER.
We climbed up the ladder and the pole, got to the top, and then let go of the ropes and LITERALLY-leaned into each other ... and our fear.
We encouraged each other, cursed (well, I did), kissed (that was me, too), laughed, cheered, & created a deep BOND. We were up there on the tightrope for over 6 minutes, balancing and bracing each other, until our hands got too sweaty to lean in any longer.
What did I realize when our feet touched the ground again?
You are stronger than you think you are.
You are braver than you think you are.
You are capable of being more than you think you are.
You have more in common with other people than you thought you did.
Today was another great day to be cherished. I’m enjoying the journey. None of us are getting out of here alive... so we need to enjoy the ride. ❤️
“Be truly glad. There is Wonderful joy ahead.” 1 Peter 1:6
What brings joy? Do that today. I’ll bet it’s pretty simple, the most joyous moments are. Go outside and bask in this beautiful day we were given. Shelf the things that weigh your heart down and rejoice in this day, in this moment. When a thought of angst enters your mind push it out with a cheerful happy moment.
:The 1st time you felt those butterflies for your spouse

:eat a cupcake 🤣
You get the picture. Do you, boo ♥️❤️💗🙌🏼

After visiting Mom this morning I stopped at the new @whole_foods365 in Upland! To say it was busy is an understatement! I love that we are all waking up and craving the real non-toxic food we deserve. I don’t have regular tv but my awesome friends keep texting me screen shots and video of my brief moment on camera. #frizzyhairdont care. Swipe to see the video. They even spelt my name right.
