Have you ever heard of butterfly pea flower tea? Like green tea, it’s full of antioxidants and has been studied for its ability to help protect the skin against premature aging. Plus, when you add acidity like a squeeze of lemon juice, the color turns from blue to bright purple! 💜 PC: @wellfitfoodie
So this was brunch. For dinner was a giant salad bowl with lots of veggies & some falafel. And my boyfriend and I snacked on some bread rolls and gummy bears while wochenende watched Shrek 1 :) forgot to take more pictures but I was still in my calorie range!
Ready for what I’m about to tell you? Sure?
Here it is... I don’t like pie. I think I do, but then when I eat it, I’m like, “ew. I don’t enjoy this.” And then it’s Fall and I see pictures of amazing pies everywhere and it starts all over again. Lusting after pies I will soon be spitting out.
BUT, galettes are another story. The ratio is so much better, the crust better. The filling not too sweet. They are perfect. So search GALETTE on the site and you’ll have a great recipe for easy non-pie-pie.
P.S. Every time I type THE, it changes it to tnt. Like, for years. I’m sick of correcting it, so it’s official, tnt all tnt time.

#WednesdayWisdom - Today let's challenge what you thought you knew about the origin of fine dining 🍽
"Some chronicles tell of the first Spaniards' surprise when they came to Peru and were served food by the natives in fine ceramic dishes and accessories decorated in gold and silver that awakened the Europeans' appetite for wealth. If anyone should ask why Peruvians are so fond of good eating and such generous hosts at meal times, these events of long ago suggest that the origins of these traits are lost among legend and history and have remained among us as a part of our idiosyncratic make-up." - Hirka Roca Rey Dietschi
- Hirka Roca Rey Dietschi
