📚 Fact: I love to read. So much so, that I typically have 3-4 books I’m reading at once 😅 @cleowade is one that I go back to constantly. It has it’s spot on my nightstand and sometimes I’ll just flip to a page and see what message there is for me. I love the fact that Katerina and Layla *my 11 and 10 year olds* request that I read it every night. It’s become our #nighttimeritual 🥰 I love the discussions it brings up and how they interpret her words and there meaning ✨
“You want love?
You want light?
#HeartTalk has become our manual on life. It has taught us how to celebrate, how to show up for the people we cherish, it’s taught us compassion, how to love and most importantly how to love ourselves. Thank you #cleowade ❤️
“Today, tonight, right now, put your heart in it. Put your heart in what you are doing, saying, and how you are listening. The best of you is from the heart. The best of you is when you are all love. That's all.” - Cleo Wade
@cleowade, our #WCW goes to you. Your words have unlocked places within us that we never knew we had the ability to access. With every piece that we do, we bring the lessons of our mentors, of our greatest teachers and of our sheroes. Cleo, your love, compassion and kindness are engrained into our pieces with the same fervor as our empathy and support. Thank you. We ❤️ u. #cleowade
"And remember - life is bigger than the boxes we check along the way." #cleowade
Feeling grounded after our staff retreat. So grateful to pause, breathe, laugh, and reflect with @thewheatfield and @carolinaxiomar 🌟
Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's acknowledging the fear and taking the leap anyway. Our goal at SEEN is to help you strip away all those little insecurities so that what's left is just straight-up courage. You in? We thought so. (Words via @cleowade)
When the night sky falls upon you, look up at her. See the darkness and the vastness of her blues. Hold your eyes steady on her. Watch the sun sneak in. See how even she, the great big sky, changes with the new day. #cleowade

Overthinking all of the negative parts of our lives can really amplify our situation in the worst way possible. Meanwhile, minimizing the wonderful and joyous moments that we far too often don’t give adequate attention to. This has helped me greatly and I use it as a mantra when I feel my nerves getting the best of me. #anxiety#advice#bossbabe#cleowade
four steps for opening yourself up to a more radical life by @cleowade:
1. love yourself enough to get to know yourself.
2. achieve step one by having the courage to ask yourself hard questions.
3. honor step two by having the courage to answer the hard questions.
4. repeat steps 1-3 your whole life.
Waking up feeling human again after a dance with 🤢 this weekend and Y'ALL I am so damn grateful for this body. The words of the amazing @cleowade echo in my mind today
A love note to my body:
First of all,
I want to say
for the heart you kept beating
even when it was broken
for every answer you gave me in my gut
for loving me back
even when I didn’t know how to love you
for every time he recovered when I pushed you passed our limits
for waking up.

This is so powerful and pretty much sums up my year. Losing my grandma earlier this year forced me to be more in tune with my emotions. I felt everything...deeply. I was so much more sensitive and I learned so much about myself. I learned that my heart is strong. I learned that my heart can love and treat people well even when I’m hurting. I learned how I want to be loved...and how I don’t want to be loved. I know that my life will never be the same because of this year... #hearttalk#vulnerability#loss#love#growth#cleowade#emotions#emotionalintelligence#strength#vulnerabilityisstrength

Some poetic wisdom for your Monday 🙏 from the incredible @cleowade 🖤
Just started reading her book Heart Talk and this poem immediately stood out to me.
It’s never too late to make changes in your life, to take chances, to discover more about yourself. Because as I’m continually realizing more and more each day, we never stop learning about ourselves unless we choose to stop. There is always more to explore and discover ✨
Well said, @cleowade. Social justice and prioritizing human rights are both a part of my DNA. On both sides of my family, I have a history of philanthropy and public service. I invest my own portfolio in line with my values, and 100% of our investments @beyondcap strive for reduced inequalities. If this resonates, check out the link in my bio to learn how you can get involved in improving the lives of a growing 2.5 million people living below the poverty line
On Mondays we sometimes act like what we might be going through shouldn’t exist anymore. We tend to post lots of “fresh start” energy but as we all know there are many Monday’s where you’re still right in the thick of an emotional struggle. So here’s a little page from Heart Talk on Heartbreak. One of the first pages I wrote for the book because it is so important to allow ourselves to feel motivated not only by aspirational thoughts and ideas but also by our real life experiences, the ones that aren’t always pretty but strengthen our souls and sense of self. I love you. Have a wonderful week. .
