Knee still isn't right but am managing pain and swelling. But having a niggle shouldn't stop you from training. You need to keep a joint moving so it doesn't seize up. You just have to modify your training. .
Clean and jerks were programmed. I spent time before the session with a plastic pipe going through positions seeing what I could do. I modified my training to a complex of 2 pulls, 2 power cleans and 2 front squats. This was to avoid desceding into the squat at speed which is the only part of the movement that is causing problems. Also gave me a chance to work on my feet and knee positions. .
Spent about 2 hours doing cleans and front squats yesterday 😩 50kg for 3 on powercleans....work to do in the next 4 months on my technique and trying to get through a PT session without saying ‘I can’t’ and ‘I don’t like it’ #ptsession#cleans#powerclean#shagthatbar

Working olympics lifts after heavy deads and front squats the same week is awful. I think I whimpered after every clean lol. Built up to 355 and missed it straining my brachioradialius, it happens a lot when I do oly lifts cause I refuse to give up body building movements. But the workout must go on so I ended up switching to a naked catch and rebuilt up to 335. Spent about a hour with cleans and 30 mins with snatch but catching the snatch irritated my arm so I didn't get to crazy. I really need to hit these fresh to really see how fast I can make the bar travel. Working on my weaknesses: 1. Front squats and 2. Keeping a base level of tan. This was my last round of front squats from the floor and it felt heavy!
