Last week's inhouse challenge to the members was the glorious power clean.
@strongdad_blake96 one of our resident strongmen took the top spot with this beauty. The jerk was not required but he went for it anyway.
This week's challenge for those who wanna test themselves: POWER SNATCH.
Max weight is the goal post yours up with hashtag #adonisathletics and we will repost the best at the end of the week.
Played around with some light hang cleans after chest. Needed to get in the gym and break a sweat today. Had a little too much fun last night. Flexibility is lookin silky right now, just gotta get the strength back up. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Been making some progress on cleans. 3 weeks ago I hit 115# for the first time. Since then I’ve done 115# squat cleans in a WOD for a few reps and got up to 117# for a 1RM. It doesn’t look great here, but progress is progress. 120# will be mine in no time.
I have to keep reminding myself though, 10 months I knew nothing about Crossfit or OLY... my baby steps are just fine. One fractional weight at a time. 😝💪🏼

8x2 hang cleans every two minutes for 16 minutes
Started at 78lbs and increased 5lbs each set. So shocked with this! The one and only time postpartum I tried to work to a heavy clean I think I only worked to 93lb and was donezo. Made it to 113lb for a double from the hang so yaaay progress! After that first one though I was like “shit idk if I have anymore in the tank for the second rep but I’ll try anyway 🤷🏻♀️” Glad I got that done! Definitely need some tape for my fingers. My hands are torn now lol, since I lost all my calluses the past year. After the hang cleans did the light clean pulls focusing on form (5x3)

When I keto I can never lift to my satisfaction. I try and just cardio because I don't want to feel defeated when I leave the gym, I want to feel empowered😍
Today was a whole lotta weighted ball cleans, slams, some ski machine and biking. I also hopped on a machine for a half hour. I love the way cardio makes me feel!
