NUTRITION LABELS ‼️ One mistake people make is only paying attention to the caloric content of their food. While this is a good habit to get into, what is the nutritional value of what you're eating? While something may be low in calories, it might not be adding any nutritional value.
For example, frozen foods. Atkins? Nutrisystem? Jenny Craig? All foods that are supposed to support weight loss! These frozen meals are advertised as being "healthier". But look closely at what it is offering you nutritionally. Almost nothing, except low calorie meals to help you lose weight.
It is important to look at EVERYTHING on the nutrition label to know what you are consuming. Yogurt? Watch for added sugars. Low fat product? Often times these products compensate with added sugars.
When looking at labels, typically the less ingredients the better! And taking a few seconds to read the ingredients can help you better understand what you are putting in your body 😊
If you have time for Social Media, you have time for exercise. That’s a surefire way to waste time you could be spending in more active ways. Consider trading just 30 minutes of your social media time for exercise. My guess is you won’t miss it and you will be better for it. #youbfitip
