Here I go again with these questions. Fit fam I know eating nutritious meal is important. But there are are people out there who truly believe that they will burn more fat on an empty stomach. .

Before my workouts I make sure to eat. It helps me power through. During my workout I'm drinking water. However, after my workouts... sometimes I have a post workout meal other times, ain't no food in the fridge bih. Gotta wait til my next grocery shopping. .
.
This pre and post workout thing can be confusing. My IQ can't handle all these rules. There's no one size fits all. I know how to eat (healthy) and that's what I'll keep doing. Fit fam, what are your thoughts on this?

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a happy summer ending. Just popping in here briefly... you'll never guess what that husband of mine did this past weekend. @emtprx made #bonemarrowbroth. Never in a million years would I do such a thing but I'm glad he did. This stuff is #liquidgold. One ice cube for breakfast and it's like main-lining energy straight to the system AND it keeps you full for a while, unlike regular soup. Swipe for how it's made. It's ugly but sooooo good. 
This summer has been great for me. I was going through bins of old clothes to sell on ebay when I came across my size 2 Hollister jeans. I laughed but gave them a try anyway. They slid on with ease like a fine Italian driving glove. So I kept digging and found my old fetish clubwear. #circa1996 . (see silly pic) What's left... it's great having the old me back! A month or so ago I hit a mental roadblock. I realized I needed to take sometime off from lifting, counting macros, etc. it has been four weeks and am now back at it. I don’t feel good about the strength I have lost but I know I will get it back. Sometimes your mind needs more attention then anything. Take care of yourself always. Listen to your body, heart and mind. If you need a break, take it. Now, let’s do this, shall we?

Dýně, hlavně oranžová hokkaido je pro mě jedním ze symbolů končícího léta a pak celého podzimu. Dělám z ní pyré na piškot a granolu, peču ji s javorovým sirupem, dělám z ní polévku, ale úplně nejvíc ji používám na tohle jednoduché dýňové kari. Nemá cenu troškařit, navařím si ho vždycky na pár dní dopředu, a pak už jen stačí ohřát a doplnit jogurtem, kokosovým mlékem nebo třeba natrhanou mozzarellou, posypat nasucho opraženými dýňovými semínky a oběd je hotovej…  Recept na webu, link v bio.

Frozen-streamed cauliflower in a smoothie is the REAL DEAL. I love cauliflower as a side, but was a bit hesitant to throw it into a smoothie. You 100% couldn’t taste it, and it made my smoothie exxxxtra creamy.

I’ll be honest and say I’m not much of a smoothie creator. I’m the run to Jamba Juice kind of a girl. However, now that I have my @vitamix I am determined to make more smoothies! I am happy to say this one is TAAAASTY.

Green Machine:
- 1/3 cup frozen-steamed cauliflower
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach
- 1 t chia, flax and hemp seeds
- 1 scoop @vitalproteins unflavored collagen peptides
- 1 small banana
- 1/3 cup frozen tropical mix (strawberries, pineapple and mango)
- 1/3 cup @califiafarms unsweetened almond milk. Add more based on the consistency you love!
- 1 t @sprouts raw organic honey

Blend it all together and top with @purely_elizabeth grain free granola and cinnamon! #RachelLivesWhole

i spread hummus on one of the inside of the pita and guacamole on the other, added arugula, salad, tomatoes, carrots, red beans, apple cabbage, chickpeas, yellow pepper, kale, avocado, seeds and nuts. that’s it!

Last night's dinner was simple yet extremely tender and delicious! 
Roasted butternut squash (all you need is salt and pepper!) with a butterfly chicken covered in 13 herbs and spices. But, if you don't want to mix 13 spices together, I also recommend McCormick Garlic & Herb seasoning with No Added Salt. 
I saute the butternut squash in olive oil for about 4 mins, then leave it in the oven for 15. The chicken is about 3 minutes on each side and then 3 mins in the oven.

Super lecker und eine mächtige Portion 👌

Drin ist Hähnchenbrust, Paprika ,Zwiebel, Mais, Nudeln und passierte Tomaten.

Heute morgen war ich nur kurz einkaufen und danach im Garten das Wetter genießen 🌞❤ jetzt kommen die Kids von der Schule , dann geht's an die Hausaufgaben.

Real talk, I woke up sore and I know tomorrow I'll be worst because today my arms was burning while I was working out 🤣 °

I'm still loving it, it's a great way to shock my muscles and get out of that comfort zone. I'm doing some workouts that I've never done before which will spark new muscle growth and strength. °

When you want something So bad it becomes the only thing you can think about. Success is inevitable because you are willing 
to do whatever it takes. °

As a mom I know that TIME is LIMITED and someone ALWAYS needs you! But in order to be EVERYTHING to EVERYONE you gotta put you first at least 30 minutes a day! °

It's not selfish, It's super smart!
With small changes daily I was able to transform our entire lifestyle. After losing 2.5 inches on my waist, toned my body and lifted my glutes from working out at home for 3 months and twice a week at the gym, I decided that I couldn't keep this a secret. I now have lots of energy, my confidence and self-estime has sky rocket like never before, I now look at the mirror and feel proud of who I am. Now I want to pay it forward to help others feel the same way that I do! °

Today I have a BIG Announcement! I have been on a journey to really change my lifestyle, to eat healthier, to start exercising and to help lead my family by example in this area! °

It has not been easy. At the beginning I cried because my body was so weak after my C-section recovery. I couldn't complete some exercises that I knew I normally could and that frustrated me a lot. I made so many mistakes and pushed myself too hard that I couldn't walk, sit or lay down for 3 days.🤣 In reality, it was also a mental challenge to stay consistent. I don't mind admitting I made many mistakes like not working out for 6 days in a row (huge mistake🤦‍♀️) but that's part of my journey. I'm not perfect and with those failures I learned a lot about myself. I made a few changes and now I'm growing from the mind to the body stronger than ever. I am seeing changes in my body that I didn't know were possible! °

I joined a private accountability group where I get daily support, motivation, meal plans, recipes/tips and more. I seriously have fallen in love with the support, the workouts and the nutrition aspect that is so simple to do at home! Without this new community and this LONG TERM approach to getting healthy, I would have quit just like I did all the other times before when I was looking for quick fixes!

I guess I reached the famous training plateau on my abs. That's when you are no longer progressing in your workouts. Base on some research I did, I can do these 3 steps to burst my way out of the plateau fase. °

1. I will be more consistent in trying to sleep 8hrs a day. °

2. I will be lifting heavier weights for fewer reps and using longer rest periods. °

3. I will now add "Superset" in my routine which it's when you combine two exercises either for the same muscle group or opposing muscle groups and you perform two exercises one right after another with no rest in between. °

That's what I will focus on for the core workouts. Hopefully I'll get better results.💪

Yes we will have those days that we don't want to workout or be active, but we have to push foward  and think  why we started in the first place and look how far we've gone. °

I want to lead my son by example to always stay active. Studies shows that physically inactive people can lose as much as 3 to 5 percent of their muscle mass each decade after age 30 but If you remain active throughout those decades, your metabolism slows only about .03 % which is an awesome statistics. That's more motivation to stay active as we get older. °

We sometimes forget to focus on us. We need to find time to close our eyes and focus on our breathing to take time to reflect on whatever is bothering us. °

Now imagine yourself blowing it all in several bubbles. All that pain that someone caused, all the anger you feel or maybe all the anxiety or stress, what ever concerns you have. Just imagine it's going all in those bubbles and it's now floating away until you can't see then anymore. °

I always say forgive even if they haven't forgave you and just let it go. Dont waste your time thinking about things you can't control. Leave it all in God's hand and you will feel inner peace. ❤
