This summer has understandably seen a drop in confidence of bouncy castle safety, So we got together with a group of reputable local hirers and enlisted in an RPII Training Course.
The course run by The Register of Play Inspectors tests you in all aspects of the safe running of our business from arriving on site, setting up the units, supervising where required and packing away and leaving site. The course keeps the companies upto date with the latest advice and regulations set by the HSE including the anchoring inflatables, required areas and safety matting, weather suitability and general maintenance and inspecting.
The course concludes with 2 tests the operators have to take. On passing these, the operators are awarded with a certificate and identification badge displaying their name, company and RPII Operator Number.
Although this is not a mandatory requirement and although we have all been in the industry for many years, we felt it was an important and necessary action to help to reassure you all that we always have, and always will operate in the safest way possible to protect all of our customers and make the use of Our equipment safe and enjoyable for all.
Be assured that when choose to hire your inflatables from About2bounce or any other of our Associated Reputable Companies, then you will be hiring the best quality, cleanest and most importantly safest bouncy castles available.
I would like to thank the following for making the RPII course possible.

I wanted to share the first birth painting I ever did and essentially the birth of Little Darlings. It was for a special little baby called Walter and is inspired by the “His Dark Material” books by Philip Pullman which I love. Walter’s friend is Iorek Byrnison, the panserbjørn and king of Svalbard. The scene is set in the North Pole and they are accompanied by a narwhal, a wolf, a seal and penguins (who as a matter of fact only lives in the south pole, but this seems to be a common misconception 😂). Walter’s zodiac sign is visible in the top right together with a Capricorn and of course, the aurora lights up the night sky ✨
