Dance In Progress is an excellent way for choreographers, beginner and experienced, to showcase their work in a theatrical yet relaxed atmosphere. After presenting their work, choreographers get to ask the audience three questions and receive feedback about their work. Here's what student choreographer, Maelee Thomas, has to say about her experience with Dance In Progress...⠀
"Dance in Progress is one of the most beneficial opportunities I have been apart of in a long time. Yes, it is scary having to hear what people think about your artistic ability but in the end it is all constructive to your growth as a choreographer/dancer. I got lots of feedback from the audience members and I have taken their opinions into account to better my choreography. It was truly a blessing to be apart of Kathrine's Dance in Progress and I look forward to the next performance. "⠀
Our next Dance In Progress is in January! If you're interested in presenting a work, contact Katherine Gant at email@example.com ⠀
