In less than ten minutes the twins will be a month and a day old. The four of us plus the cats survived our first month as a family! @the_healthy and I took pictures of them with a one-month-old sign today (we used our good camera, so who knows when we will have time to edit them) and celebrated while my parents watched them for a couple of hours. I’d like to write more about how we are getting to know our babes, but instead I just want to say I had sushi for the first time in 11ish months. This upcoming week I plan on getting better at documenting our new stage in life with these little ones... Wish this sleep deprived mama luck! 🍣💕🍤
Chopstick theory: I knew about Chopsticks when I was a kid. I thought it would be very easy to use. But when I tried chopsticks for first time, I got irritated of not being able to use it. During my internship in Malaysia, back in 2010, I saw everyone using chopstick and I felt it is an art which I can never master.
Now while having wonton noodle soup easily using Chopsticks, I took a moment to look back. Something which look very simple to me now was an impossible skill to learn at one point. This made me realise, anything can be learned with Time. So if you are having hard time learning any new skill and are thinking of giving up, just Don’t give up! Don’t give up and you will be proud of yourself for hanging on. Keep Learning and Keep Growing.
