The bigger I gotten over the year the more I HATED wearing jeans. I NEVER wore jeans to work. Because being at my heaviest they were uncomfortable. And i do a lot of bending, kneeling, getting up and down. So button would dig in and I just hated it. But lately I’m at the point that I can wear jeans again and be comfortable. We can go through the motions, just going through the day as if our eyes are closed. Or we can take off those blinders, look around and see what good we can do!! I want to touch one person today...make one person feel better, or have some hope, or just smile. If I can do that, then I've had a good day!! So let's all try and make today ridiculously amazing, and touch one person. Could you imagine if every one of us could help someone in some way. Good Morning!! Have you ever felt like you have been fighting an uphill battle, and no matter what you do, nothing seems to be working or changing? That's how many people feel and what do they do...they quit!! It's always easy to be upbeat and positive when things are going well, and then when life hits you between the eyes, everything seems to crumble. I have to tell you, that doesn't happen when you have people around you for support and a new mindset to keep you strong!
I am always talking about personal development, and how we should take the time in the morning to listen to audio, watch different motivational speakers, or read a book. They really do start our day off on a positive note. Try putting some of that inspiration and mindset to use in a real life situation, and guess what: IT REALLY WORKS!! Repeat after me...I am a product of the product....I can be whatever it is I want to be, and do whatever it is I want to do because I believe in myself for the first time in years...and it feels damn good! ❤❤
Today's transformation has nothing to do with my physical but everything to do with my mental... I am like every young female trying to make it in this world and if it wasn't for the teachings I got from my network company company regarding personal development and the teachings from the team regarding prayer I don't think I would have such a positive outlook on life.... There 3/4 versions of my yoga.. one is guiding; more structure but I still love to be in the class on a mat with everyone , the second is self practice when I’m filming something. The third is when I’m just enjoying moving for me & it barely looks like yoga. And finally, when I am doing number 3 and realise I just want to take a nap & the yoga nap arrives somewhere comfy ☺️❤️ happy Tuesday folks. Don’t worry about getting it right. Today was hard. I walked back into the same hospital 1 year later from my last cancer scan, and I was rushed with emotion, tears welled in my eyes and I felt the fear of last year, the uncertainty as I was sent to wait in the exact room where I was told I still had cancer, after 2 surgeries and being quarantined. At that point, again, I was reminded to surrender. .
Ah, that word, it seems like it should be so easy, but it was so hard and something I continue to do and have learned to do well.
Surrender-surrender control, surrender and turn fear over, surrender to what could be, to fully let go and trust that a force greater than me, in my world that’s God, has my back and a plan greater than I’ll ever know. .
As a recovering perfectionist, turning over control, letting go of fear and worry, staying present...these have not been my go-to ways of being. .
But cancer, was a blessing in that I learned to surrender, to turn to faith and trust in myself, my body and source, to surrender to what will be and most of all to enjoy the ride. No regrets, no more living in the past or getting caught up in what could be, but loving what is.
I hope, if you’re reading this, that you take a breathe, look around and love what is, all that you are and all that you have.
No matter what life has in store for you or what’s on your plate right now, this too shall pass both the great and the most challenging of times. Find the blessing, stay present and live in this moment, loving what is. The only control you have is right now-make it count💫

Last week started off well and ended with lack of sleep and dog guarding 🙄🤣
I let that stop me from putting my health first. Don’t get me wrong, sleep is very important in health but lack of it shouldn’t be stopping me from eating well and working out. This week is gonna be different.
This week I’m sticking to my workout and nutrition. Something comes up, I’m still making it my goal to stay consistent. Choosing a different/shorter workout program helps as well. (Lucky for me I have over 600 to chose from right at home 🙌🏼). This week I’m choosing joy over other exhausting emotions. This week I’m choking to finally let whatever happens happen and not lose sleep over it (thank you Maintance for helping me with this one 👌🏼). This week I’m choosing me!

What a workout!
I could have skipped it.

I was listening to my audio book of High Performance Habits and the chapter I am on emphasized the importance of taking care of your physical body first and foremost!
It is so important that you air care of yourself!
If you want to perform at your best in all other areas of your life you have to be taking care of your body!
It’s that simple!
I had so many patients today tell me they know they need to lose weight but don’t want to put in the work.
That is so sad to me, especially since it could solve so many of their health problems!
You guys... I say it all the time but you are WORTH IT!
Don’t let your self care take a back seat!

A year ago I joined a gym that would change my life. All summer I followed this new gym on social media as they were doing pop up camps, too afraid to go. I signed up for the initial 30 day trial. After my first camp, I was crazy sore but I loved it. 365 days later, I'm still loving it! 🔥
If you asked me a year ago if I'd be able to finish the workout from today in time (with time left over!), I would've laughed & said no. I love that I'm stronger mentally & physically from #BurnBootCamp . ▫️
I love this place & all of the wonderful people I've befriended in a year. You'll never find a better support group than these women & our trainers! 💙

On this gloomy grey day I couldn’t help but think of the amazing summer we just had. What’s the best thing you did this summer??
For me, it would no doubt be when we rented a boat during our cottage vacation and spent the entire day on the lake. I just loved the freedom of exploring, the wind in our hair, the heat of the sun beaming down on us. We stopped a few times to just float, swim and enjoy the calm water. It’s days like this that I realize how amazing it is to just be free, surrounded by fresh air and nature.
