A proper introduction of myself & my nail page.... My name is Brett Anne (don'tcha call me that though- just Brett does the trick!) & I am a New Brunswick-er living in #YYC . My journey in the Aesthetics industry began over 6 years ago now.
After graduating highschool in 2012, I went straight into the private insitute of Jon Raymonde for Aesthetics. I completed my course in June 2013 with gel nails, waxing, gel polish, manicures, pedicures, body treatments, facials, electrolysis, swedish massage, tinting & make up diplomas. Since then I have trained further in Brazilian waxing, electric nail drill use, microdermabrasion, teeth whitening, classic & 3d lash extensions, akzentz & luxio gel, advanced gel shaping & acrylic nails. It has been a very educational 6 years!
Today, I primarily continue to apply my gel nail education in the classroom (@onebeautybrands_) & in the salon (@distilled_beautybaryyc). It is very important to me to balance practicing & educating so I can continue to strive to be the very best I can, keep learning myself & pass on that knowledge.
When I am not at the salon or school, I am usually at home practicing new techniques Ive learned from other nail artists in class or online! 🍾
I am obsessed with nails, & I will peek at the polish on your hands and feet like a ninja. 🕵

Elyse Romano potentially set the new women’s 12-pound line class world record for Chinook salmon with this 21-pound fish that she caught and released on September 29, 2018 while fishing the Manistee River near Wellston, Michigan. Romano needed approximately 30 minutes to land the salmon after it ate the egg-patterned bait she was fishing. Once landed, the fish was quickly weighed, documented and released alive. The current world record stands at 13 pounds, 12 ounces.
Andrés muy contento con su primer salmón de la temporada !
