Music and dance have always been a key part of Miao culture. The Golden Pheasant dance, known as Jinji Dance, is performed during celebrations, ceremonies and at times, when they worship ancestors. Women dancers will dress up like beautiful pheasants, with exquisite embroidered clothes and a whole set of silver jewelry!
The Poverty Alleviation Tea Garden in #Danzhai has transformed the lives of local tea farmers. Individuals can adopt part of the tea farm and per acre sponsorship directly creates a US$560 compensation for the local farmers. Sponsors will receive freshly-made Dan Black and Dan Green, and all the proceeds will go to the poverty relief program too. To date, the Tea Garden has boosted 501 farmers’ income. Luo Mugui is one of them.
