Hunter & Imogen’s DAD is better than yours!
STEPHEN the legend! He really is you know!
The love pouring out of Stephen at this session for his family was absolutely incredible. But this came as no surprise to me. I’ve been lucky enough to know this beautiful man since he was a boy.
And I am lucky enough to say I will watch him dote over his beautiful wife and kids for a lot longer yet!
Jo, you are one lucky lady!

‘Anything is possible with a little passion & a lot of work’
Probably the most productive Monday I’ve had in a while. The house has been neglected but I made waves at work. Feels so good to get some of the bigger tasks ticked off. I’m working so hard behind the scenes & I’m loving every single minute of it.
I truly believe if you do something you love it doesn’t feel like ‘work’ it isn’t a chore your not waiting to get through the week. That’s an incredible place to be. I wish that for everyone I really do.
When my fabric deliveries drop through the door I get so excited, I’m stumbling over myself to get started & cant wait to have them sitting pretty on my little shelves. You guys are keeping me super busy & I can’t thank you enough you’ll never know how full my heart is because you choose to believe in me. It’s been hard at times to explain what I do to others. ‘I make bows’ it sounds like a little hobby I’ve exaggerated, it’s so much more than that. I finally feel proud to say I do something I love daily. Thank you for being a part of my journey.

My parents were suppose to be in Vegas this week visiting my great aunt. Tickets had been bought. The whole trip planned.
When I came home from the hospital on Wednesday, it was with strict instructions to not lift anything that “weighed more than a loaf of bread.” Oh okay. August alone weighs, like, 3453 loaves of bread. Instead of flying to Vegas for a small vacation, every morning my mom came over to our house before anyone woke up so that as soon as one of the girls did wake up, she could pick them up out of their crib and carry them to me. My dad bustled around the house fixing things, hanging things, and oiling things. They have literally been my hands and feet since I got home. August had a double ear infection when I got home; so we had to whisk her to the doctor. My mom took us and carried August so I wouldn’t have to. I developed a virus and have been sick on top of healing from surgery. They have spent all day, every day here since I got home, with the exception of today when they went to church and to the grocery store to stock up our fridge and pantry. They have chauffeured, cooked, cleaned, played, rocked, drawn, bathed, read, and laundered. (I had to quit typing this just now to go throw up. I couldn’t find my nausea medicine, so I called my mom to ask if she had moved it somewhere while doing dishes earlier. She hadn’t, but they have the same medicine(from 2015 😂🤘🏼), and my dad brought some to me. I’m pretty sure he flew here, he got here so quickly.) They are kind and patient in the most crushing of times. Having them here in the midst of our chaos has been both exceedingly humbling and really joyful. Other than feeling like complete poop, I have just relished their company.
I am so dang thankful for them. And that’s an understatement. I could not have done this without them. They’re the best of the best, and I love them dearly.
For some reason my kid had the audacity to get older every chance I looked away. I can’t believe this little man is 3. BJ and I are so freakin lucky to have such an astounding little boy in our lives and we count each day as a blessing because we have this little dude.
Happy Birthday Tristan.
