So much to be thankful for this year. Happy year end thanksgiving from my family to yours. At the end of each year, we give thanks and reflect on the entire year that is about to pass. #inc4life#thankful#alwaysapurado
Feeling so grateful for this amazing weekend we have had. My heart is filled to the tippy top. Although we’ve been quite busy, it’s my favorite time of year. I’m really going to try to focus on enjoying the busy chaos the next two weeks will hold, but I’m going to slow down and soak it all in in the midst of the business this season brings. Sometimes we can become overwhelmed by all the activities, the last minute present shopping, the cleaning, the cooking, the family coming in, etc. that we miss the true reason of the season. So don’t forget to slow down and really soak it up and enjoy spending time with family. Just a few more days until we will get to do just that. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Cheers to a great week ahead! ✨#tistheseason

She’s had a rough month between getting RSV, the stomach bug and getting two teeth but it hasn’t stopped her from being the best baby. Peanut butter oatmeal is her favorite thing to eat and she never meets a stranger. I can’t believe it’s been 7 months since she came into my life, making my life the best there ever was. She’s my girl! #7monthsold
(I know this is long but bare with me)
Maddox, my first born son.
My baby, my love, and a walking living breathing piece of my heart ♥️ these past few weeks we’ve been making sure to give him all the extra attention he needs as we recently discovered Maddox is considered to be on the spectrum. There’s a lot more to do’s and things that have to be taken in to consideration more carefully and throughly with that being said. Maddox is 2 years and 4 months. He’s a happy, sweet, smart, loving boy but is easily frustrated and not able to fully communicate his emotions and put them with his words/actions. He can say about 5 words -to our understanding- and has had many regressions the past year when it comes to his speech but also made some really great progress these past couple of months as well! After his hearing evaluation two weeks or so ago they discovered it’s quite possible he may have hearing loss in both of his ears, although the test is not 100% accurate since we couldn’t get him to cooperate the whole time. So as we wait, I sit here with my heart sunken in my stomach just waiting for the weight to be lifted. I know some of you are thinking I probably shouldn’t be putting Maddox’s story out there but Maddox’s life is a huge part of mine too and I’m human as well. I feel so deeply and everything my children go through, I go through too! I read a blog written by @theautismcafe awhile back on how mothers in the #actuallyautistic community are shaming other “martyr moms” whom speak up about their negative feelings for autism and how it effects not just the person with it but everyone around them too but I don’t have to suffer silence and I refuse to let humanity tell me what I or my family can and cannot feel. This space I’ve built within my page is meant for supporting the community and building friendships within it. That’s the main thing I’m on here for other than the work that has allowed me to stay home to give this little man the extra time he needs. So we’ll continue to share our stories and I’m thankful for all of you that have supported us all along ✨
I had a whole list of activities I wanted to do this weekend during our staycation and we didn’t really end up doing all of them but it was so so nice lounging, relaxing and spending time together that it doesn’t quite matter...the second night was tough on the sleep factor but I’m still feeling relaxed and refreshed...weeee! #staycation#happyhannas#matchymatchy#christmas2018
Been severely lacking with the Christmas themed pictures for the gram this year! I’ll try and get some up this week as my grid needs some joyful festive cheer! In the meantime a tartan scarf and Neves cutey pie face will have to suffice! #whpjoyful
