Tonight I went to Candice Lin’s opening “A Hard White Body, a Porous Slip” at the Logan Center at U Chicago. 🔥 Major‼️What a phenomenal site-specific installation that captures and relies on the intersections of temporality (ephemerality), abjection (piss), queer forms (porcelain, fragmented objects), and history of science and racial constructs. There’s too little space here to describe how thoughtful and intentional the work is. 🔥 See it for yourself if you are in Chicago. 🔥 Congrats to Candice Lin‼️A wonderful addition to Chicago’s contemporary art scene this season.
