Ok, which body are thinking??? Being completely honest, I LOVE THEM ALL! I grew up a Ford guy and currently own a 69 Mustang Fastback, so I’m kind of partial, but man, they all look great!

2012-2015 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (GM Zeta Platform), the ultimate Camaro returns. Before 1970 GM had in internal ban on engine displacement over 400ci (6.6l) on passenger car's and only way around that was the COPO (Central Office Production Order) form that GM dealers used on fleet vehicle's and thus the 1969 COPO Camaro was created with 2 order codes 9560 (ZL1) & 9561 (427 COPO). Code 9560 was the hardcore ZL1 version that had the heavenly aluminum block/head ZL1 427 v8 that made 530hp (in 1969) and was used in drag racing, only 69 COPO ZL1's were ever made. In 1972 & 77 the ZL1 did appear but only as a design concept, not performance. The performance ZL1 concepts appeared in 1993 with a Donovan 572 big bock @ 672hp & the 2002 LS6 400hp ZL1 but never saw production. 10 year's later and the ZL1 was back and this time, it was in production. What truly made the ZL1 and resurrected the good old day's of the 1969 ZL1 was it's the 376ci (6.2l) LSA v8 heart with a 115ci (1.9l) Eaton TVS supercharger for a total displacement of 491ci (8.1l) and @ 9psi (0.6bar) made 580hp (588ps,433kw) @ 6,000rpm & 556lbft (754nm,76.8kg-m) @ 3,800rpm mated to either a 6-speed Tremec TR-6060 manual or upgraded 6L90 automatic. My most favorite feature is the hood scoop that was designed so that the air that entered the front grille would exit via the hood and that improved aerodynamics & front downforce at speed. I also like that you can find a used 2012 from $35,000-27,000usd. Only 14,213 ZL1's were built from 2012-15 and I'd prefer one of those over a new one, way better/cheaper build platform if 800+hp is your thing. Also I like it that only the ZL1 & CTS-V use the LSA vs the new Z06, ZL1 & CTS-V all using the LT4 v8, it's not as special. #chevrolet#chevroletcamarozl1#chevroletcamaro#camarozl1#camaro#chevy#chevycamaro#chevycamarozl1#zl1#lsa#lsnation#lsx#6point2#superchargerwhine#ls3#lsftw#zr1#z06#caffeineandoctane#carspotter#carspotting#carspot#carspotted#drivingmatters#ctsv
