It started out the same as everyday with my Functional Training, which includes my Hanging Shoulder Exercise that is featured in the @organic_muscle Health & Wellness Blog! 👍

After the Functional Training it was time for the Strength Training session!

This training session features Bodyweight Push-Ups & Hanging Leg Raises for a Warm-Up. 👍

Then it’s into the Resistance Training with Resistance Fly’s & Crunches on my Half of An Armwrestling Table! 💪

It is all followed up by my Mobility Training in the evening, featuring my Full Body Yoga Routine, to stretch it all out and get feeling good after those workouts! 👍

-Incline dumbbell press ,for this I did 14kg and 10-15 reps -weight dips for chest , I did 30kg on each side and 10-15 reps
-cable flys and I did 10-15 reps 
Last was an intense plank for 1 minute with a 15kg weight on top

During my workout today, I kept thinking back to when I first started working out. I could barely pick up a 25 lb. donut, I could barely do one push-up and let’s not even discuss my pull-up status lol. I’m so happy with my progress but I know I can push myself harder and now that I’ve established technique, I can focus on target areas (my lower back, hips, and core). Some of my goals for the next few weeks are:
1. #gluteactivation

4. #lovehandles shrinkage

Eventually, I’ll push this exercise to the back seat to focus more on incline bench and weighted dips for chest....but until then, I’ll enjoy building this up to 225 for 5 🤑🤑🤑 WHO LOVES FLAT BENCH?!?!

This exercise is a one great on to build strength and power in the upper body which is key for an athlete, try and perform these reps by powering out and returning slowly. By carrying out this exercise in a kneeling position means that your core will also be challenged, producing a more functional and beneficial exercise! 💥👊🏻

The "come at me bro" stretch before a chest day workout! I think I should start out every Monday morning with this stretch and the attitude behind it!

I'm really not a huge fan of working out late at night anymore, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

That's one thing I love about being a coach now. I've made a commitment to more than just myself, but to many others who are holding me accountable. A couple months ago I would have said forget it, I'll workout tomorrow! (That would never happen tomorrow) Tonight was too hard with a long day of work and two boys who like to act up when Daddy's not home for bedtime. And I had to do all the cooking and cleaning...(insert more reasons). All those reasons are legitimate and did add up to a tiring day, but they have been my #excuses in the past, and I know I'm #madeformore. I got some big goals set in this head of mine, and I gotta stay on track if I'm going to reach them!

I wanted to take the time to self-reflect today. I read a truly inspiring post today by @awkwafina. She touched on her struggles and the true grind she went through to be where she’s at. From working minimum wage, chasing dreams, being fired for chasing those dreams, and worst of all..having someone tell you that your dreams will never happen. The one word that comes to mind when I hear all of these stories is resilience. To clap and cheer for yourself when no one else is. To stick to your guns when every sign is telling you it’s not meant to be. To keep running even when you can’t see the finish line. To just never give up on your dreams.

So, I ask myself, “How bad do you want it? Are you truly putting everything you have into it?” Just because you can’t see the finish line, doesn’t mean it’s not there. So, I hope we can all take something from all of these motivational stories. Grind till you shine!
