A great privilege serving needy children in a remote rural area of Guatemala. #sanmartinjilotepeque , the result after 110 that a Guatemalan/Spaniard Lady came over to settle and preach the Gospel to the Native people living in that beautiful part of the Guatemalan plateau, her second generation planted a church ( my children's grandpa) now her third generation me and my husband Rudy Rojas and then following her fourth generation.. our children and some cousins, serving with their skills, love, conviction and proffesions). This is a real mission in the 21th Century in my country, I enjoyed serving more than 140 children holding a VBS, crafts, games, learning the real meaning of Christmas who is Jesus!, doing hand labor for multi purpose buildings for the community as well bringing food, clothing, medications to the ones more needed, along with our friends and family in faith. God's Kingdom is fantastic. Thank you to our sponsors back in #Chatham , Ontario, #Canada .

Our beach camp is on the right. The 2007 breach/inlet is on the left. The inlet has been migrating south toward the camp since it’s formation. Won’t be long before it’s time to say goodbye to my family’s favorite place on earth for over 70 years. That will be a difficult day, just as it has been for so many who’ve lost theirs before us. “And so castles made of sand.... fall in the sea.... eventually.” #northbeachisland#fortitude#chatham#offgrid#islandlife
