Sunday Funday. Finally feeling normal, gawd drinking excessive in your 30s hurts after hahahahaha 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knew...JK I knew. Anyways, woke up early, crushed some chores around the house, laundry and so forth while rocking some Charcoal mask this am which I totally forgot about until someone came and picked up the old lulu I have for sale (not old just too big) anyways sacred the crap out of her ....haha Whoopsies. Back Day today at the gym and it was bliss as it was dead and peaceful which was great to grind out a solid back day, some cardio and essentrics. Cleaned my truck, the inside (I keep my baby pretty she’s precious to me my black Betty) and now gonna relax on my back deck and get a tan. Plan to go for a nice long walk with my pooch at Muskoseepi today. Oh I brushed Gabriel and Kahlua too this am, it’s been a keeping ourselves glamorous kinda day 💁🏼‍♀️. Happy Sunday everyone hope it’s a gooder, smoke has cleared, Sun is out, so suns out buns out!! Haha.

Day 3 of 7!!!! .
Today was hard, a heavy weight session, training legs and shoulders in a calorie deficit. 
It took longer than usual, as I lacked energy, but I some how managed to finish. 
Nearly half way through the week and I have found it tough, I won’t lie! But I have set this challenge for myself and I am determined to see it through! It’s been a bit of an eye opener into what I have to do during my 12 week prep next year, in the build up to competing.

Well it's my second week back to fulltime training. Today was leg day. If you haven't followed me long I have battled with a knee injury since November. Today is my first full leg workout other than total body. The only time I added weights was with stiffleg deadlift , anterior lunges and hip thrusters. Otherwise I used long and short bands. Double  bands for a lot of moves.. working those glutes hammies and calves. Trying to keep the muscle i have without injuring my knee again.. ✨ Hello friends & happy Friday!🤗😊😘 Thought to share a post of my full day of eating today for a change - not just breakfast so here is an example of my meals in a day👇
🕢 Breakfast - my favourite meal of the day (obviously🙃) overnight oats with cacao powder, chocolate protein powder, hazelnut butter, chia seeds, maca powder, collagen, hemp milk, berries + more hazelnut butter on top with a sprinkle of hemp seeds & coconut flakes.😋
🕙 Between breakfast + lunch usually a piece of fruit or two or 1-2 energy balls.(not pictured)
🕐 Lunch today was wholegrain spelt penne pasta with tuna, sweetcorn, spinach, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, dijon mustard + grated parmesan. This meal is super simple + easy to prepare and is one of my favourite summer meals for lunch or dinner.
🕓 Pre workout snacks this week were these baked omelette muffins along with 2 pieces ryvita or slice of toast. Most of the time though it's a piece of wholewheat bread with nut butter + fruit + honey. Or energy balls if I have prepped. Or dates with nut butter, or just any homemade sweet treats.😊 I'm usually a sweet snacker before gym but in this case I just had these on hand for this week.
🕕 Post workout is always a protein shake with 1 banana. (Not shown📸) I also drink bcaas during my workout as it helps for better recovery.
🕘 Dinner tonight will be same as yesterday because I have leftovers - sauteéd chicken with soy sauce + olive oil, boiled baby potatoes + roasted veggies (cauliflower, zucchini, carrot)👍👌💪
If I'm hungry during any other time of the day or after dinner I will have some fruit with/ nuts/or yogurt with honey + cinnamon or a smoothie.✌️
Ok this post was super long with all the deats but hope maybe someone finds it helpful for healthy eating ideas that are easy to make but still taste really good and show that you don't need to deprive yourself to stay clean + healthy with your nutrition. I don't count calories or macros but I think I eat about 2000-2200 calories per day depending on hunger levels + listening to what my body needs.😉

I’m still in my pajamas and 2 seconds after I took this picture the spoon flipped out and 1/2 scrambled eggs 🍳 flew all over the kitchen. .

I’ve struggled with this lift for almost a year, finally got to put away the baby weights today. Each of these snatch attempts were personal bests for me. (35, 37, 38, 39, and 40 kilos). Also hit a snatch balance PR of 45 kilos today as well. Thanks @socalwlc and @auds_chow for pushing me hard this week
