Strip off the day,
lay your bones with me.
Make of my heart
where you can breathe deeply.
Leave the stirring
for your morning coffee,
tonight, let things rest,
between what is and what could be.
“For the night is dark and full of terrors.”
Anyone else going through major Game of Thrones withdrawal or is it just me? Traveling through Northern Ireland gave me all the Westeros vibes from the Iron Islands to the Kings Road. I guess it’s time to rewatch a few episodes (or seasons) this winter.
It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful this place is. No matter what time of the year or where you're standing, the grandeur will always blow my mind.
This was my first road trip to Canada with some rad humans. We managed to get here pretty early before the crowds began to arrive. As we wade shoreline, I came across this American bloke with a slick canoe. After having a chat, I learned that he had handmade this bad boy. A project of his over the winter months. What a spectacular job. These handmade canoes fetch over $15K USD, so it blew my mind when I have the privilege of taking it out onto the water. It glides with ease.
What a moment. The mountain, the canoe - pure serenity.
Dogbert *gazing at night sky*: No matter how bad the day is, the stars are always there.
Dilbert: Actually, many of them burned out years ago, but their light is just now reaching earth.
Dogbert: Thank you for shattering my comfortable misconception.
Dilbert: It's the miracle of science.
