I wish I could sit here alllll day❤️Another friendly reminder to take your workout outdoors and/or come visit the Pacific NW🌲🏔 I am so in love with hiking the Columbia River Gorge😘 I live in a pretty dreary place several months out of the year but the beauty the rain produces is insane. The second half of the hike we spent trail running which was a fun, new experience. I’m sore in places I’ve never been sore before. Looking forward to more before the rain returns❤️
It’s been raining in my area off and on for the last 2 weeks or so. Flash flood warnings every hour, not the most appealing weather!. BUT #marathontraining knows no excuses! Better to train in every weather condition and be prepared for race day.
I was actually grateful I run today because I had to my car off to get some new brakes, and instead of asking for a ride from someone I just ran home! By the time I got home I was soaking wet, but it felt good to be out there feeling like a rockstar when no one else was!

I made myself sit down and read a chapter in my book “Girl, wash your face.” And let me just tell you it hit me like a ton of bricks! 🔥 •
Know you are worth everything. You are important and you’re going to do big things in your lifetime. I made myself get my workout in even though I did not want to. I pushed myself and got it done! It’s all about your heart and desire to want to accomplish BIG things! 💪🏼❤️
Today was the start of a new training split that I am trying out for the next couple weeks. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you’ve probably seen my post about how I split my muscle groups up into their own days throughout the week. I’ve been feeling bored with my current split so I decided to switch things up what from what I’ve ever done before. I’m going to start combining a mixture of upper body workouts into one day rather than their own separate days and still continue with my usual leg days. Swipe left to get an idea of what I’m talking about! I’m excited for this change and hope that it brings back some of the motivation and excitement that I typically have for the gym, but have been lacking the last couple of weeks. 😌 p.s. I just realized I’m missing my middle finger nail in this pic bc I’m too rough on them in the gym. 😂

Daughter brought a friend along and they Managed a couple sets and then played On hill until #workout was completed. Cheering me on and stealing my water.

Holy moly this was a great run! I am SO sold on the LIIFT4 program I have been doing.. I surprised myself that I was able to do this because I haven't been running much lately. I would recommend this challenge to everyone and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get some friends into our challenge group because it's so exciting to see progress and gains! 💪🏽🤗 And how cute are My Alex and Dixie Doo?! 😍🐶🏃🏻♀️
The only one stopping you from progressing is yourself.
I might have been smiling in that pic from last year, but I was not happy. No belief in myself. No energy. Lot's of pain, both emotionally and physically. The decision I made in December to make a change for myself and by myself, was the best thing I ever did. And progress never stops! I just returned from a solo-adventure to the US to get myself out of some of my comfort zones. Little, scared me, with fear of gyms went by myself and lifted weights at the mecca, golds gym. I surfed eventhough I'm scared of the ocean. I talked to strangers even if I have social anxiety. And I had a bloody good time! I'm so happy I had the guts to do that, because I learned alot about myself and what I can do. If I just dare to stop thinking about what everyone else thinks, and just be me.
