 I am close to 20% body fat(have been over 30 a year back) and still got some definition in abdominals , not because I have been doing endless crunches but because I have based all my workouts around the BIG 3 movements ( squats , deadlifts and benches/presses) which brings perfect conditioning throughout and engages core as well. 
Never train because Some xyz trainer asked you to train in that manner . Do your research , ask professionals and try it on your body. This industry is filled with buffed up dudes and guruJis who lacks basic understanding of human anatomy but have their first say on anything.

Not everytime you'll be gifted with the perfect Gym.

I want to prove that lifting weights can be feminine (for women of course 😄 ). Because most of the days I'm the only girl in weights section at the gym. I don't know what's the reason behind it. But if it's because you believe lifting weights will make you manly... wrong!  Of course lifting weights and exercising develops masculine traits like willpower, determination etc. But it's only for good. Lifting weights won't make you look like a man. You can always balance your activities with feminine things like dancing, yoga, handcrafts and others.

Today is such a dark, cloudy and rainy day here in Latvia. The shortest day of the year is so close. I had to turn on the light in the gym. I would prefer candle light, but this is no yoga.

Shoutout to my client and a strong momma @dianasriadityo 💙.. 3 months post-partum is not an excuse for her to not get back in track. After consulting with her doctor (no diastasis recti condition), she is cleared for light exercise with main goal is to regain her pre-pregnancy stamina in a safe way for her post sc scar and also not affecting her breast milk supply. 
These are some of the modified movements safe for her 1st time workout:
1. Squat and press
2. Glute kickbacks
3. Modified renegade row to tricep kickbacks
4. Seated alternate bicep curl
.
Do it for 15-20 reps each at your convinience for 3 sets if possible. Consult your doctor before deciding to do any kinds of workout. Take longer in-between-sets rest if you needed to, drink lots of water and stop immediately if there’s a sudden feeling of discomfort.

otrkārt - šis bija tests. testēju gan kalē, gan jauno nutribulletu. ar blenderi esmu apmierinātāka, nekā ar to kāpostu 😂 bet veselības vārdā to zaļo brīnumu izdzēru. vai atkārtošu - ik pa laikam un dažādās kombinācijās noteikti!
pie viena atcerējos, ka patiesībā ir tikai pāris gadi pagājuši, kopš es tieši tāpat - kā zāles (jo VAJAG, nevis jo garšo) - sāku savā ēdienkartē ieviest arvien vairāk zaļumu, salātu un dārzeņu. bez kuriem tagad nav iedomājama mana ikdiena.
