I'm keeping this bowl, it has a green speckle close to the rim, probably a little splash from another glaze and I love it 😍
I've made a few more like this one, making the blue pool and I like it! What do think? Should I add this one to my range?
Exactly what it says.
Creating something you love, and actually making a living from it, has been my dream.
For that dream to become reality, has most certainly been one of the best things that has happened in my life... The day that I decided to leave my work in the construction world, and take the biggest risk of my life, and become an artist full time, was one of the scariest, yet most comforting of days I have ever lived.
I don't have to answer to anyone but myself (which has its pressures of course!!), and my day is as flexible as I want it to be (which could mean I work from 7am to 2am...perks of working as an artist - your mind never switches off). But to see each piece of art I create, ready to be sent on its merry way to its new owner, is beyond the most amazing feeling EVER!
I will never regret the day that I made the decision to turn my World upside down. Being upside down is AWESOME! Being upside down has opened my eyes to how extra hard you have to work to reap the benefits. Being upside down has made me absolutely love and believe in what I do. AND THAT CANNOT BE QUANTIFIED!
Running a business is hard. Brett and I both have day jobs and side jobs besides that and a homestead we’re developing and on top of that we’re working on this pottery thing. We’ve been trying to make little adjustments to our commitments and schedules to free up more time to throw into the business but it’s hard. Thanks so much for all your interest and support and kind words. I know right now we’re behind on a few custom orders and I HATE that so much, but rest assured we’re doing the very best that we can. Handmade things take time, especially when they’re made by busy hands like ours. Can’t wait for a little extra time, we’ll be locking ourselves in the studio! Our Shop update is scheduled for September 30th so MARK IT ON YOUR CALENDARS Y’ALL!
