ATTENTIION SYDNEY PEOPLE OR PEOPLE WHO KNOW SYNDEY PEOPLE:
Just reaching out to ppl I know- I'm applying for work in LA, US, as I found out I'm eligible for a trainee J1 work visa after all. I found a company that takes care of the sponsorship. Then fingers crossed a business in LA accepts my application for a job. It's not permanent, that can wait till the 2020 greencard lottery I applied for, but it's a way in for 18mths. Been chasing this dream for 5 long yrs and a lot of sacrifices.
Only thing is I'll need to find my cat daughter Lucy a home. Breaks my heart that I have to leave her and I'm praying I find a loving home for her. So I'm spreading the word in advance. That way it can be a gradual transition and I can ease Lucy into a new environment, before I'm ready to go. So if u can please ask around any family, colleagues, friends, or friends of friends who would take a healthy 13yr old, Grey/white/Ginger long hair cat in, to care for and love. Let me know by direct message, that would be much appreciated. Even if u flicked a group text to ppl u know. Thanks so much guys!
On rainy nights like these my mum always reminds me how good I have it off the streets. She was rescued when she was pregnant with me. I guess it’s true that every generation has it a little bit better than the last. - Trixie
OMG. Christina this morning we walked past your place then I heard a familiar voice and thought I was hallucinating! Hurrah! Neo and Tikka enjoyed a nice ignorey moment 😀❤
“I’m learning to be a more relaxed parent. Six months ago I wouldn’t have dreamed of letting Trixie up on the kitchen bench, let alone the windowsill. They say the eldest child always pushes the boundaries. It’s certainly the case in our house.”
I’m about as subtle as a sledgehammer when it comes to telling my humans it’s dinner time. I once waited like this for an hour without being acknowledged. Luckily I had no prior commitments that evening. @royalcaninanz
Long weekends are when we get to just relax and potter around the garden. We’re all about being self-sustainable. We planted that kale a few months ago and just look how it’s thriving. It will go well in our morning smoothie.
