Is it nap time yet?!😹 We wish we were having an afternoon snooze like these five. Siblings Finley, Lance, Starla, Newton and Preston sure know how to make us jealous this Wednesday afternoon! It’s easy to forget their awful start in life, being born to a stray mother in someone’s garden 😿
✨🐻✨🐻 ADOPT BEAR ✨🐻✨🐻 Yo! Sup? My name is Bear and I’m a super cool 8 year old dude who loves to chat! I was adopted from Cat Haven a few years ago but have found myself back here due to no fault of my own. I’m such a character I am very confident and also very friendly. I’m hoping my next home will be my forever home. Could you give a handsome chatterbox like me a home?
Some of you may remember Arya who was with us for a long time, 9 months in fact!!😿 Well she’s finally been adopted, yey!!🎉 She was taken to her forever home in Essex yesterday and is already following her mummy and daddy around everywhere ❤️❤️❤️
Bruno, now named Buzz, celebrated his one year adoptaversary recently! He was such a favourite with our volunteers and it’s been great to see him so settled in his forever home. Having completely stolen our hearts during his time with us, it’s easy to understand when his new parents tell us how totally in love with him they are 😍😍
Hi there, my name is Sylvester, I am such a super smooch, super chatty and want to spend my time with you. In the beginning I was excited to be with my foster mum but I was easily over-stimulated and scratched her with my long claws. Now that they have been clipped and that I have bonded with my foster mum, I love being patted, brushed and always talk with her.
When you wake up, when you come home, whenever you are near, you will hear me talking (miaowing) and chatting with you. I always have something to say and its my way of communicating with you. I like to hop onto kitchen tables and dining tables, I dont make a mess or bother you, I just want to be SUPER close to you and watch whatever it is that you're doing. If you're lying down, I like to knead bread on you, and I often like to suckle which means I trust you very much. If you don't like your clothes getting wet, just pop on a furry blanket on you and I'll suckle on that for a little bit then curl up next to you.
I love looking out the flyscreen especially when the window is open so I can breathe it all in - maybe I'm reminiscing of my days on the street. It is much safer for me to be indoors as I am FIV+ and wouldn't want to pass that onto other cats. When I have settled in, I love to play with toys and sometimes I love to play with you too!
Not much of a lap cat myself but I love to be next to you, sometimes I'll pop up on the armchair when you're sitting and be THAT close to you. If you're looking for a super smooch, enquire now and get in touch with my foster mum for a meet and greet. Please note that I can be shy when there are new people, however if I am placed in my room and everyone is sitting down, I usually come out to greet people.
I’m back at the Cat Haven! Come down and meet me 😻
Harrow is still waiting for his forever home. This poor 2 year old boy was discovered living as a stray after being abandoned by his previous owner😿 Subsequently he is scared and taking some time to learn to trust humans again after his bad experiences.
He would best suit an experienced adult only home with someone who is willing to work with him and give him time to learn to trust again. He would love a home with some garden access in a secure location, and where he will be the only pet.
My name: Link (why? I don’t know! Hoomans named me and I get called ‘Linkster’ ‘Linkstar’ ‘Linky Dink’ ‘Clever Boy’ ‘Pretty Boy’ so idk what my name is half the time tbh)
My colour: white on white, ice cold ❄️, cloud, vanilla milkshake, Vivid White (Dulux™️)
My age: 1
What’s hot: fishy food, chicken(dur!), climbing up high, water out of the tap, strokes and pats, turning around 10 times before sitting on my white cushion, sitting on foster daddy’s lap, my foster parents and their cats, Snapchat, chasing real cockroaches under the fridge and waiting an hour in case they come out again, cat grass, the (real and fake) birds, the (not real) bee, toy mice and the red dot!
What’s not: loud noises (scary), pick up cuddles (not into them, nope!), biccies (meh!), foster mum singing (ugh), not having a furrever home (boo).

Recently discovered a charitable organization called @skiathoscatwelfareassociation which has completely captured our hearts. Filmmaker @philipbloom has created a must-see documentary video about founder Sharon Hewing, and the cats of Skiathos, Greece. She and a group of volunteers work tirelessly to feed, neuter, medicate, rehabilitate, and care for thousands of homeless cats on the island. This organization is one hundred percent funded by donations, and they desperately need help so they can build a new and more permanent facility for the cats and kittens that rely on them for survival!
To watch the video you can click the link @philipbloom , or go to YouTube.com/philipbloom
And to make a donation go to @skiathoscatwelfareassociation or www.skiathos-cats.org

🐈So after a lifetime of Spanish holidays feeding stray cats & wanting to take them all home with me, it fully melted my ❤️ last night to find the @suarafoundation who provide the stray cats of Barcelona with a home, food, veterinary treatment and most importantly love❤️🐈😻🐾
💕💕Kittens💕💕 We have a number of rescued kittens currently at Catcuddles looking for homes. These three were rescued living as strays in communal gardens. Tessera and Leigh, the black girls, are approx 10 months old and Minima, the ginger girl, is approx 4 months old.
All three are gentle and currently slightly timid girls; they will no doubt transform into lovely friendly cats as they get more loving care from our volunteers and realise humans are kind to them. They could be adopted as a group, a pair or as companions to resident cats. All will need access to back gardens in a safe location, through a cat flap.
Awwwwwww ❤️Here’s some Jesper and Vesper love to brighten up our morning!
These siblings are looking to be rehomed together as they are so closely bonded. Do you have a home with access to a safe garden through a cat flap? Please get in touch with our Adoptions team if you think you can offer these two the forever home they deserve 😊
👑FRESH PRINCE PHILIP👑
Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a meownit just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became a kitty in foster care
In Western Australia born and raised
On the streets is where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, loafing, catching my dinner
without a home, made me a little thinner
When a couple of cats, they were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and I caught FIV then the ranger picked me up and said "You're coming with me”
At the shelter I hissed at anyone who came near
the staff discussed it would be better if I got out of here!
But the people walked past and no one looked at me
Next thing I was on route to my foster family
I pulled up to the crib about 30 mins later
And I yelled to the staff "Yo, humans smell you later!"
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To sit in my castle at my new foster care.

HEY THERE! Sahara here, I'm a 8 months old girl with a huge amount of character and a warning is given for being a bit quirky sometimes.I will for example move your slippers around the house, drink from your water glass - I just have to try it, And I will probably redecorate your pretty plants during night time, My curiosity is full on!
Although, I'm a bit shy when it comes to the larger size of creatures including humans, there are so much loud noises in a humans life, which I'm not reeeally use to just yet, But very keen to be a part of,need to give my confidence a boost.
Once you have my trust I will purr non- stop while getting cuddles, (I'm in love with cuddles) and I will dance with my front feets to show my appreciation and looove.
I promise you, there are not a single negative vibe with me.
My only wish is that you please give me time to understand your cool lifestyle and I will be your furry quirky best friend for life! Contact foster care to arrange a visit with me! Fostercare@cathaven.com.au
Happy International Cat Day!!! We’re celebrating by looking back at just some of the cats we’ve helped rehome this year, and thinking of those who are still patiently waiting their turn. We couldn’t help the number of cats that we do without your support and all our hardworking volunteers, so THANK YOU everyone 😘😘
Mia has found herself with us after her owner developed a severe allergy to cats. At only 5 months old, she is a typical kitten full of energy!! We are looking for a home with access to a safe garden for Mia. She is due to be neutered in the next couple of weeks and is fully vaccinated. Mia could live in a home with children as long as they are respectful and kind to cats. Ideally, we would like her to go to a home where there is already a resident cat.
👑ADOPT ALICE AND ARNOLD👑
Hello, I’m Alice and I am 1.5 years old. Boy have I got a story for you!
I’m originally from sunny Broome where I found myself homeless on the streets.
It wasn’t long after that I also found myself pregnant with a litter of kittens!
Luckily the angels from SAFE Broome took me in and gave me a temporary home where I could be safe, warm and loved and have my babies safely. My babies are all big and strong now and we recently went on a big adventure and went on a plane and flew to Perth to find loving homes!
So now I’d like to introduce you to Arnold (He is 9 weeks old) – I was a great Mummy and took such good care of all of my little ones, but Arnold is my sooky bub and he just wants to be with me always.
I love him very much too and we would be sad if we were separated so we are a special ‘Two for One’ adoption package!
That means you get to take home two terrific tabbies for just one adoption fee!
We’ve met lots of nice people on our adventures, but we are certainly more than ready to settle down into a loving forever home now.
Maybe our new home can be with you?! You can find us being adorable at City Farmers in Booragoon.
😾FOSTERING SAVES LIVES😸
Let me tell you a story about an angry kitto named Alfie. He was a very mad boy at the Cat Haven, he would hiss and swipe at everyone. We finally found him a loving foster family that took him out of the shelter and opened their home till he found his, as you can see he is much more relaxed and adoptable! Foster carers like Alfie’s offer temporary homes for these cats that are scared and struggling in the shelter and give them a second chance! Alfie wrote a little bio about himself, in hopes to graduate from foster home to furrever home 💕
I might be six years old and seem like I’m an older fellow, but I’m here for all your insta pics!! Selfies are my specialty - do you want to share my spotlight?
The humans think I can be a bit temperamental, but they don’t realise I’m a star! I need pampering and spoiling. My demands include head scratches, head butts, head scratches, chicken, head scratches and good heating. I keep up to date in the latest trends by watching Animal Planet. I’m an indoor kitty too - it’s the life of luxury for me. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to meet Alfie or become a foster carer yourself 😉
⭐️⭐️Indoor home needed⭐️⭐️ 3 year old Wasabi is looking for an indoor only forever home. She also needs a calm adult-only home where she will be the only pet.
Wasabi is timid with strangers and prefers to keep her distance, but with people she knows she is a friendly, sociable girl.
A few days ago we welcomed in Zera and her five beautiful babies! Sadly Zera was a stray girl who gave birth to her kittens in a garden in West London😿
We had received an urgent email from one of the students living in the house who had been looking after them and trying to get them shelter before she was due to leave the country. So of course we pulled out all the stops to help the whole family, and with the help of the lovely woman who had contacted us for help, we managed to get them all safe and to our vet's in Greenwich. Zera has now been neutered and a much brighter future awaits her! She is barely more than a kitten herself, very skinny and small and a sweet, friendly girl. Her kittens are approx 7-8 weeks old and will be looking for homes in pairs in a few weeks time. Zera will be looking for a home on her own or with one of her kittens.
Meow! I’m Magik and as you can see I look very sad, I’ve been here for nearly a month and I came all the way from Kalgoorlie to find my furrever home. I had a few medical issues, but the lovely vets at the Cat Haven fixed me right up! I heard all your donations you lovely humans make goes towards all medical issues us kitty’s have, including our sterilization! Which is great because trust me, it’s a hard life on the street. Come down to the Cat Haven to meet me, I love a good scratch and I sit at my window watching the other cats get adopted, maybe it’s my turn now?
I am sweet, affectionate and talkative. I am very smart and a little bit cheeky. I am inquisitive (of course - I am a cat!) and will investigate every nook and cranny in the house. I love to get pats and rubs but I won't climb all over you.
I get affectionately called the "Kitty-Cog" because I have some similar traits to a dog. I love to be in the same room as my human friends and may follow you around to see what you are up to and see if I want to join in. Either way, I just like being where you are.
I love my food and if you are home I will remind you if a few hours has gone by and you haven't prepared me something to eat
I am very expressive so you will see in my eyes and my face how I am feeling. My first night at my foster home I had a good look around and found a lovely box with blankets which became my favourite hidy-hole to safely watch my new surroundings from. I soon outgrew this as I became more comfortable in my new abode and now I can be found in almost any area of the house....I do like resting in my foster carer's inbox whenever I get the chance. I am very adaptable and enjoy just chilling wherever my human friend may be in the home.
My likes - food, pats, food, exploring, food, resting in obscure locations...did I mention food?
I also like attacking the various mats around the house and will get sudden bursts of energy where I will bounce off every surface at a rate of knots without disturbing a thing, I get a kick out of that too.
I have very soft fur and expressive eyes which will always tell you how I am feeling. I do have oriental heritage in me so I also have a lean face and long body. I have a small ulcer in my mouth but it is not causing me any pain and I am happily eating so it doesn't bother me. I just have a wonky side to my mouth, but I am still beautiful.
I am adaptable, inquisitive and social so would fit in well with human friends who spend some time at home or a family unit where I could get love and companionship from a variety of people.
Come and meet me in my foster home in Scarbrough! Email email@example.com.
☀️🌻☀️ You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away☀️🌻☀️
Hello everyone, my name is Sunshine and the staff think it suits me well. I did have a home but I was surrendered due to the family not wanting a cat, now I’m nearly 10 and homeless! Will you be the one that changes that? I promise I will give you plenty of love and snuggles 💕 I’ve got a few skin issues, which the staff at the Cat Haven will fill you in on 😉
💐ADOPT POPPYSEED💐 .
Hi there, my name is Poppyseed. I’m two years old and very beautiful. I keep my fur clean every day and spend so much time making sure it’s perfect, my foster Mum thinks I go over the top with it. Apparently I’m a tad over weight for my age, I promise I’m not fat just fluffy and I do like my treats. You must know that I dislike living with young children and dogs, they like to ruin my fur and I don’t like it. I’m a bit shy when people first meet me, I will try to hide away from you but don’t worry, I’ll warm up to you if you adopt me! That means a lot of pats for me and you get to see me roll on my back. I’ve lived with another foster cat, but she recently got adopted! So with a slow introduction I could live with another kitty again. I must be an inside kitty to protect my pale features. Want to know more? email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a meet and greet, I’m located in East Victoria Park. Meow, Poppyseed x
Who dis? It’s Harley! I’ve lived my 4 years alive on the streets, could you tell? I’ve got these scars and nicks in my ears because of it, now I might look rough but I promise I’m an absolute smooch! I even drool 0.5 seconds after you touch me, oOoOo do I love pats! But don’t over do it because I might nip! I would suit a house without those little humans, maybe a young hipster couple who can make me an Instagram? We can call it #harleysdreammm and I will be instafamous 😉 I recently upgraded to a foster home, can you believe I was at the Cat Haven a month and no one adopted me! I was a bit nervous my first night in a foster because, well it was my first night inside a home! I’ll never have to hunt my food or find shelter ever again. I did catch FIV on the streets, but it just means I’ll have to spend the rest of my days inside and be feed a good diet, the Cat Haven will cover my vaccinations because they want to give me the best chance at life. Can’t resist me? Email email@example.com to come meet me!
