🇫🇷 Début ce soir d’une nouvelle série consacrée au château de Chantilly. Première photo avec cette vue partielle du château prise hier par un temps à ne pas mettre le nez dehors ! 😅
DID YOU KNOW?
🇬🇧 Beginning of a new série tonight dedicated to « Chantilly » Castle. First photo with this view of the Castel taken yesterday during a windy and rainy day ! 😅
DID YOU KNOW? Owned by the « Institut de France », this Castel, located 50 km north of Paris (Oise) was largely rebuilt in the 29th century for the « duc d’Aumale », penultimate son of the King Louis-Philippe the first. Only the part called “the little castle” is from the 16th century.
About 12 years ago we got married at this gorgeous place. A few days ago we received the terrible news, that there had been a fire. Not a totally devastating fire, but still a quite serious one that destroyed the hall of mirrors. We are sending our deepest compassion.
Næsbyholm is a castle originally located in the village of Næsby and is mentioned for the first time in 1388 as Næsbygaard and called Næsbyholm from 1585
The main building was built in 1585 by Hans van Steenwinckel the older, for Steen Brahe and Birgitte Rosenkrantz, but remodeled in 1861 by Christian Hansen.
The Couple only lived here for a short while, because Birgitte Rosenkrantz dies quite young, and Steen Brahe chooses to vacate the Renaissance castle.
In 1709, King Frederik the 4th bought Næsbyholm Castle, and he gathered the land possessions with neighboring Bavelse Estate.
The king's mistress Charlotte Helene Von Schindel is then installed in the Castle, but finds herself a lover.
.When the king found out she wasn´t faithfull he became so furious that Charlotte and her lover were exiled. It is said that today she has returned to the castle and she can sometimes be seen at night in search of the king to beg for pardon.
The last resident in the castle was the baron Mogens Holck's grandparent baron and baroness Eiler and Jessy Holck.
Previously, Næsbyholm Castle was the Holck family summer residence when they were not at Holckenhavn on Funen.
The castle partially burned in 1932 and 1947, and both times rebuilt in its original style.
Thank god it didn´t burn to the ground this time. #næsbyholm#næsbyholmslot#naesbyholmcastle#castle#castellidelmondo#bryllup#wedding#weddingvenues#weddingvenue#weddingvendor#weddingplanner#bryllupsarrangør#fire#brand#ourweddingplace#rosenkrantz#brahe#baron#baroness#baronessa#holck#holckenhavnslot#holckenhavn#holckenhavncastle#schindel
