“An old cartoon that is (sadly) relevant today.
The President of the United States called a black woman a dog on Twitter. That is truly disgusting and disturbing. Misogynistic abuse - particularly racialised misogynistic abuse - is rife, but when it comes from the most powerful office in the world, it must be all the more terrifying, all the more disheartening. Outrage is becoming exhausting, but letting go of that outrage isn't an option. Sending love to anyone who feels even more threatened today.
