Want to know a secret? These are made from CARROTS! 🥕 Yep. You read that correctly! And they don’t even make me crave or miss regular (or sweet potato) fries when I have them. ⠀

Whatever Wednesday? Idk! All I know is that, as usual, I was starving 🤤 Andrew worked nights these past few days so I’m on my own for whatever it is I have so I’m having a bit of a lazy, but yummy, free for all. @drpraegers california veggie burger on a @mikeys english muffin, topped with some onions I cooked in @traderjoes seasoning salt and @saucylipsfoods ghost pepper & tamarind; then I added some @thenewprimal classic bbq sauce. On the side, I made some @farmwisefoods carrot & potato fries, which I then added some more of that delish saucy lips toooo! 🤤🙌🏻 #happyhumpday

The chicken is coated in spicy Doritos and it keeps the chicken nice and moist! I chose to have my chicken in a ciabatta roll and Steve had his in a wrap. I had mine with carrot fries and coleslaw! It was quick, super easy and a hit for the whole family
❌🌽🥕🍟 Back in Nashville and enjoying a solo Sunday night with carrot fries! This recipe is so easy and healthy. Simply cut large carrots into French fry shapes, drizzle with an oil of your choice, salt and everyday seasoning mix. Bake for 16-20 minutes in an oven preheated to 430 degrees, until crispy. I love whipping up a fun sauce to accompany simple meals. Tonight I mixed corn-free Ketchup, spicy mustard, garlic, herb-infused olive oil, lime juice, salt and pepper. A clear-out-the-fridge dinner - tuna mayo on top of sweet potato, cheesy garlic carrot fries, celery sticks, sautéed spinach and mushrooms topped with roasted tomato, a massive dollop of hummus on top and a sprinkle of spring onions
Orange dinner! 🍊 Only 1 syn for this whole meal! Made 1 omelette base with 2 eggs, mixed herbs and garlic and cooked on the hob. Added tomato purée, onion, mushroom, 1 chicken italia heck sausage for half a syn. Cooked carrot fries and used a fluffy jacket potato, cut into wedges and popped in the oven for 15 mins. Used 20g Red Leicester for hexa. Topped with 1 tablespoon bbq crucials sauce for half a syn! Chop carrots into thin strips, toss with 2T of @7barrels Traditionale Balsamic Vinegar, garlic powder, and Italian herbs. Cook for about 15 minutes @ 360F!

Crispy and sweet, these fries pair well with a tangy or spicy dipping sauce and taste great with a juicy burger (veggie or not).
As if you need any more reason to bake these up, let's dive into the nutrition a bit. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which is converted to vitamin A in the body. This vitamin is essential for healthy eyes and vision and it supports skin cell production (great addition for my acne prone peeps). Plus, if you have a little one on the way, adequate vitamin A is important for healthy development. .

Dinner and Dessert - Tonight I bow to two ladies who provided the fabulous recipes I used. @joybauer has the most delicious Baked “Fried” Chicken and Carrot “Fries” that I made (I did adapt the Chicken to be Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Egg free). I added a yummy Banana sprinkled with Chile Lime Seasoning. For dessert, I couldn’t wait to have two more of the fantastic Pumpkin Muffins, thanks to the recipe from @hungry.blonde - I seriously could have eaten an easy dozen of them, but I used self control, so I can enjoy them again tomorrow! I love trying new recipes, and when I’m 3 for 3 being thrilled with the results! What is the last new recipe you tried that was a delicious winner?
This is a family recipe and it’s by far my favorite. The steak is so tender and delicious. It is definitively a treat! 😋 SCD + Paleo
1️⃣Steaks (grass fed & seasoned with "adobo" -a homemade seasoning powder)
2️⃣Wellbees SCD ketchup @wellbees_scd_paleo
4️⃣Sofrito (the secret weapon of latin cuisine; just pure flavor)
5️⃣Green peppers (chopped)
Add all ingredients in a saucepan plus a little bit of water and cook at Low-Medium heat until tender and until the sauce acquires a thick consistency. .
For the carrot fries:
Peel & slice the carrots and add olive oil, salt, parsley and paprika. Spread on parchment paper on a baking sheet and bake 425°F for 20 minutes. .
