Friends, I need some positivity sent my way✨ After putting it off for two months I went back to get the results of my scan for the cyst I had on my ovaries today. I am being sent for another scan because they’re not sure if it’s a normal cyst or something a bit more serious, such as cancer. I am staying positive and hoping that the cyst has gone. However, I am very aware this may not be the case. I will be going back for the follow up scan sometime next week. I have been keto all week so far, normally something like this would tip me over the edge. @1190lbs (there’s 2 100lbs plates mixed in there for you plate counters🙄)Went to failure on this one! I’m not exactly sure what set that was, 5th or 6th of doing 12 reps plus 8 warmup sets, it was my last. I don’t usually post stuff like this, I’m not bragging I know there way stronger people out there, BUT I just wanted to make a point of how important drive and nutrition are. I’ll be 43 next month and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. Thought for sure I’d be on the decline by now and never thought I’d be lifting what I am. Without the nutrition my drive would definitely suffer. Now that I’ve found the correlation between the two I’m much more productive in my workouts. I feel like I’m in complete control, whether I want to get stronger or lose weight or whatever, I know I can very easily. I have to thank the people who have helped progress nutrition and science and take the time to teach and spread their knowledge. Shout out to George and Dan @lockhartandleith and Dr Rhonda Patrick via @foundmyfitness and @chriskesser for being amongst those I’ve learned the most from.

Was leery of dollar oysters from past experience, getting small, reject or not so fresh ones, but I was unbelievably pleasantly surprised. Tgwboston oysters were fresh, tasty, cold, juicy and big. Day 18 Carnivore!! Now by no means have I done this perfectly!! But this is a massive learning curve for me!, I am truly being honest with myself and learning my body- I have DEFINITELY consumed too much alcohol! Even for me normally it’s just that time of year for many functions! And yes I can say no, but I don’t normally drink that much so I am enjoying my social outings! !! UPDATE!! 1.8kg lost/3.9lbs lost! (Even with alcohol- normally this is a no go for me!) Cravings are minimal when I am on carnivore!
Tummy feels flat!, NO bloat!, NO pain!
Minimal cramping throughout lady stuff!
Eating to hunger!- no feelings of deprivation!!, no lack of control binges!
Feeling full/satisfied!! NO CALORIE or MACRO counting!! (Ummmm yes please!) Constipation yes 😢 but managed with brone broth (think fat) and magnesium!! Hoping this will keep improving!
