Roasted pepper and sundried tomato fusilli 🍅with basil 🌿 and a walnut chilli 🌶 sprinkle. Who wants in? As well as being cheaper and more environmentally friendly to make your own pasta sauce, it’s actually far easier than you think and the leftover sauce can be frozen, or turned into a soup the next day! 🤓This one can be in your belly in just 30 minutes! ⏱ Do you have a fave homemade pasta sauce? To make this -
5 red peppers, whole
1 cup of cherry tomatoes
4 cloves garlic, unpeeled
4 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup water
4 sundried tomatoes, in oil
2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup walnuts
2 tsp chili flakes ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preheat oven to 200•c. Make your walnut sprinkle by adding walnuts, chilli and a little salt and pepper to a food processor. Pulse briefly to combine. Set aside.
Wash pepper and cherry tomatoes - no need to chop. Coat them with 2 tbsp oil and place onto a large roasting tray with the garlic cloves and cook for 25 minutes, until the veg is slightly charred. After 20 minutes, start to cook your pasta.
Remove tray from the oven and remove stalks and seeds from the peppers, they should break away easily. Squeeze the garlic cloves out of their skin and add to a food processor with peppers and tomatoes. Add in sundried tomatoes, oregano, olive oil, balsamic and salt and pepper along with 1/2 cup water and blend until smooth. Drain cooked pasta, and add sauce to the pasta pan. Pour pasta on top and stir through. Serve with basil and walnut chilli sprinkle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you sleep for 12 hours and then take the time to make a very extra, very delicious breakfast:
Carmelized Banana French Toast
1 cup Kodiak Cake Powercake mix
1 cup water
1/3 packet of banana cream jello
Mix together and cook pancakes on medium. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add the following:
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tsp Mexican (or regular) vanilla extract
Dip the cooked pancakes into the egg batter and put back on the skillet until cooked.
On another skillet, put two sliced bananas on low with dashes of cinnamon and coconut sugar for 1-2 mins.
Serve French toast pancakes with the carmelized bananas overtop!
Something a lot of people worry about when going vegan is eating too many carbs, but is this something to worry about?
The idea that carbs are bad for us or will make us fat is as outdated as flares but not as cool.
Personally, I smash carbs all day, every day, and feel fitter, stronger, and more full of energy as a vegan than before. All my protein sources come tethered to carbs, lentils, grains, even nuts and tofu. It's clear that as vegans we're going to eat more than the regular animal eater. But that is definitely not a problem and in fact a healthy choice.
A lot of people shy away from carbs and have been lead to believe that protein will make them stronger and healthier. However, the WHO and US National Academies Institute of Medicine state that only 5-10 % of our calorie intake needs to come from protein. This is easy to achieve with plant based foods, without any effort or calculation. .
International health organisations actually recommend that carbs should be our primary source of calories, Depriving our bodies of carbohydrates can result in fatigue, nausea, and hypotension. They also state that neither protein nor fat should ever exceed 30%. High amounts of protein stress the kidneys and liver. High amounts of fat cause high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and even diabetes. This is because fat prevents sugar from being properly assimilated and causes stress on the pancreas. .
So considering these points along with the fact that the longevity of Japan has been attributed to high carb diets there's nothing to worry about when you choose the cruelty free, high carb option. 😉🌱✌💚

Гормон дофамин тоже отлично вырабатывается в ответ на сахар и шоколад. Но кушаю редко, особенно магазинные сладости. И кушаю не от нечего делать, а когда очень хочу и не могу не съесть.
Все таки последствия для меня важнее, чем 3 минуты удовольствия. И при выборе - эти 3 минуты или еще 20-30 лет здорового красивого тела, я выбираю последнее, потому что жить мне в нём 24/7 и только от меня зависит, насколько уютно и комфортно мне в этом домике 🐌
Домой ничего вредного не покупаем, чтобы лишний раз себя не провоцировать. Готовлю сладости сама, без сахара и белой муки. Десерты получаются почти такие же полезные, что и недесерты 😋

Пусть вектор движения будет непоколебим, этого вполне достаточно. Без угрызений совести и отчаяния. Не только в питании и дисциплине, а во всем вообще 😋

My favourite benefit of eating a mostly high carb vegan diet is the hydration from high water content fruits and vegetables
You dont need to be drinking so much water as these foods are designed to hydrate your body. In fact most people would think I am crazy for saying this but the human body is not actually designed to drink water. It is able to of course and if you consume a more cooked food diet then your body will crave and need to drink water more.
Medical standards tells us to drink 8-12 glasses a day due to hydration deficiency but the misinformation is not telling us the importance of hydrating natural foods that come with an abundance of healing benefits.
This isn't to say stop drinking water at all if you eat a more raw diet because our bodies still get pushed beyond their limits in heat and through exercise but your body can get everything it needs from what nature designed for us to eat.
Sometimes I go days without drinking water when I am 100% raw and honestly I never feel I need it on those days.
These smoothie bowls with frozen fruits such as strawberries, blueberries and bananas will keep me hydrated and satisfied all morning 💜

Breakfast Burritos All Day Every Day Please!!! Well we can't have them everyday but every Saturday we do at Terra Vista Center Farmer's Market in Rancho Cucamonga! Steak and Egg, Chorizo Egg, Ham Egg and yup they have hashbrowns and pico! You can always request to add some of our famous golden cheese inside your burritos 😋 Honestly my favorite thing in the menu right now that I'm preggo, or maybe because I'm just a breakfast kind of gal 🍴 Or maybe because they are made by the hard workers in the booth ✨ Special thanks to @nostalgicvegan_ and anyone cooking a prepping day in day out and not giving up on the grill even though it gets pretty crazy and you end up with burns and scars 🚑 Cooks and preppers are what fuel a company!
