When I’m with my big Italian family 🇮🇹 in Long Island, we always make a big pot of sauce 🍝 and enjoy the food together 👨👩👧👦 So trust me when I tell you that I understand that food plays such a big part of tradition and it’s an integral part of so many cultures🥖 For me, giving that up has never been an option. But in 2018, there’s no need to feel left out or not join in on the family fun. 🍷This week,I made a big pot of homemade “meat” sauce #veganized and it was amazing! 🍝

My life went from traveling and chilling to hustling all day every day. And I really enjoy it at the moment. It feels good to have a purpose in life again. 👍🏼
And I could literally work 16 hours a day 7 days a week and still not get everything done that I want to do.
But I am not going back there again. Before I left for Australia I‘ve overloaded myself with work and Uni stuff and it killed me. I felt drained and overwhelmed 24/7 and couldn‘t even look forward to this huge trip that was coming up because I had just so much other things on my mind. 💭
Now I dedicate some time to myself every day. I will do some yoga, meditate, go for a walk, read or literally just chill on my bed and do nothing. 🙏🏼
No matter what‘s on my to do list, it most certainly can wait. Because my sanity is more important than anything I need to do. 🧘🏼♀️
Please do yourself a favor and take a break as well if you‘re constantly in hustling mode. You need it more than you know. 😘
Late post today, I kinda got carried away with studying Korean. Not much happen today, I did learn in my driving Ed class that all alcohol had the same amount of liquor and when drinking buggers bottles or more than one cups adds the percentage which I did not know. Anyway for today I had a sweet potato, seasoned chickpeas, peas, broccoli, cucumber, green beans, and spinach with hummus and nooch on the side. So how was your Monday?? Anyway happen??

.Cauliflower Duo. Sticky Sesame from @chocolatecoveredkatie & General Tso’s Vegan Chick’n from @highcarbhannah. Been wanting to try a couple cauliflower recipes from my favorite ladies, so I just went (vegan) HAM and did both! Both unique and delicious in their own right, this meal was incredibly filling and even though the fat was very low, it felt super indulgent! Special thanks to BAE @the87s for all the help! 💜
