“Summer is gone with all its infinite wealth, and still nature is genial to man. Though he no longer bathes in the stream, or reclines on the bank, or plucks berries on the hills, still he beholds the same inaccessible beauty around him.” -Henry David Thoreau
“I challenge you to do the same on your next hike! Bring a plastic bag with you and pick up any trash you see...encourage your family and friends to do the same. Just think about how much you'd be picking up if you did this on every hike?!?”
Packer-Bear has a new blog linked in the bio on the Wild Goose State Trail!
A true hiker doesn’t let A cold or THE cold stop them-woke up early this morning, took some DayQuil, layered up, and completed two Ice Age Trail segments! We hiked the entire Plover River segment and I finally finished the Dells of the Eau Claire segment I started in June. Thank you @hanketodd for joining this crazy journey of early mornings, blisters, and everything else!
