”I loved her first
I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it's still hard to give her away
I loved her first”
This is gorgeous Bell. Mel from @joyfullivingkinesiology kindly let me know in advance that Bell could sometimes be a little hesitant with new faces. .
If there’s anything I’ve learnt through my years as an early learning educator, the main thing to focus on with young children is that you need to be present and in the moment with each child you meet, in order to build that genuine relationship, trust and sense of fun. .
Young children are excellent at reading adults and their motives, and if you go in gun-ho, task driven, without showing that genuine care and interest in them, then there’s not going to be many great outcomes. .
Safe to say, after spending some lovely quality time with Bell, she was relaxed, happy and looking forward to the family session. .
Children are a beautiful gift to us, are they not!? 🌿
We’ve just returned from a fabulous trip to North-east India. The biodiversity is incredible! Here is a young male Hoolock Gibbon. Such a privilege to spend time with India’s only ape. Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary, Assam, India. November 2018.
Love the new camera! An old @olympuskameras from the 1975! Those are my first pictures and I’m already in love! Thanks @tutes for incredible inspiration and tips! Feel amazing when you try something different! This is me! Hope you like it! ♥️
