#asparklingmartini New post. How i’ve been feeling with blogging and i talk about fake accounts. It’s important as an influencer to call these people out as it’s difficult for #microblog ‘s like mine to even get noticed. Would love to know what you think in the comments, sorry for the delay! I just felt like giving up recently. Hopefully this post helps, if you’re feeling the same way. #linksinbio 🍾🍸💋
⇢ Salted Caramel Balayage
I used a few highlighting techniques—all with foils.
I started off by highlighting the mid lengths to ends using a "teasey-light" technique.
This helped keep her roots it’s natural shade, while creating a soft transition into a lighter colour.
Next, I moved onto adding baby-lights around my guests face to give it that "caramel halo".
The result was a soft balayage look that checked off all my guests boxes.
"I would say it's pretty low maintenance".
She won't need highlights again until she wants more sun kissed ends as we enter the warmer summer months. Plus, the salted caramel balayage hair enhances her skin tone.
(cooler tones would have clashed)
Olaplex used in all formulas to protect and enhance condition/shine.
It was tricky but it was WORTH it!
The colour choices are now endless for my guest.
If you are thinking about going red or any other dark colour (although red is the hardest to remove — but also fades the quickest, how unfair!), just know that it will take some work to get your hair back to it's original colour.
• COLOUR CORRECTION •
How each stylist gets you lighter is a combination of their own, individual methods, their understanding of the current state of your hair, your colour goals and budget.
If you want to go from dark to light all in one day or as close to it as possible you’ll need to book a full day. This is not only the most expensive way to lighten up; it can be the most stressful to your hair.
This kind of appointment is usually for clients who can afford to pay approximately $140 per hour in almost any salon and is called a “colour correction” appointment.
The number of hours it could take to bring you from your current colour to your desired shade is totally unpredictable!
Any experienced hairdresser will take six to nine hours to achieve dramatic results. And be wary of anyone who promises less they might very well fry your hair. (Magic sometimes happens but most stylist won’t promise or predict it).
To lighten hair correctly, a knowledgeable stylist won't just apply the strongest lightener on your hair & risk it all falling out or melting off. (I have seen that happen, & nothing is worse!) Instead, they’ll colour your hair in sections,
this rinse & repeat process can take hours to do correctly.
What if your end goal is a blonde balayage?
Then your stylist will have to lighten all your hair, recreate a new lighter (none orange) base color, then balayage all your hair! That’s before toning the final colour and finishing with a treatment and a haircut. Remember, this is if you are doing it all in one day and as I mention above “a colour correction service.”
That’s not to say the above is impossible or should even be discouraged. However, it’s important for clients who have never gone from dark to light to have reasonable expectations of the time and cost of a dramatic transformation.
Also, to understand why it’s not always possible to get the shade or ashy blonde or platinum you’re hoping for on the first try.
Bottom line: How pleased you are after your first appointment depends on how light your hair is to start, how skilled your stylist is, and your understanding of what is and isn’t possible depending on the state of your hair.

So grateful to have been able to attend the @camp_quality Giggle Ball with Anzani last night. @creationsofsarafina and I loved the Giggle Ball, it was an amazing event! Keep an eye out on @thefashionvaultau for our full recap!
We learned about Camp Quality, met and mingled with compassionate and generous individuals, heard stories from volunteers and families that have received help from Camp Quality, and celebrated Mackenzie's birthday and the fact that she is now cancer free after many months of chemo.
I was shocked to learn that 1 in 2 Australian adults will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they're 80.
Camp Quality helps 10,000 children with cancer in any given year, and 40,000 children that will hear that their parents have cancer.

Thinking about dying your hair blonde conjures a multitude of images, from the subtlest blonde highlights to complete transformations through the blonding process.
But regardless of whether you want to go platinum blonde from a dark natural hair colour or simply liven up already-blonde tresses, the pro at Dumblonde™ Hair can answer your questions and help you have way more fun going blonde.
Google "blonde hair," and you'll see millions and millions of hair photos, none of which look at all the same.
That's because "blonde" is a very broad term that's applied to virtually any colour that's lighter than brown.
Let Dumblonde™ Hair help choose the perfect blonde for the upcoming spring/summer season.
What is GLOSS SMUDGING?
It’s the perfect technique which effectively eliminates the "obvious" area between roots and color, resulting in the most natural blonde yet.
After the hair is highlighted and washed out, i apply a toner or gloss to just the roots with a brush, effectively "smudging" or blurring where roots end and color begins.
It gets better, though. Besides adding a natural filter to your highlights, smudging actually extends your time between touch ups. "It actually buys you time between appointments”
Because the toner actually takes a few months to fade out, as your roots grow, there's no telltale highlight "line" to give them away. Your color looks like a few months after a summer on the beach — still your shade, just better and brighter.
The newest emerging trend in hair colour for Spring/Summer. This Baby lights-balayage hybrid combines the best of both worlds.
It can be more natural, or lighter and brighter depending on the desired blonde. -
Glowlights uses a combination of micro weaves and free hand painting to mimic how the sun would naturally lighten hair: lightest around the face and ends, while leaving depth in the crown.
Moderate maintenance about 8-12 weeks.
