I'm still heartbroken about the loss of Mordred.. she was such a precious a d fierce little bird.. Nevertheless, Nova and i couldn't leave Genos on his own as Canaries are very social birds. So we got Nori only a day later and GOD they're so energetic x'D But that aside they get along pretty well, they fight a bit from time to time, but so far it hasn't been anything serious.
I'll miss Mordred dearly and will keep her in my heart forever.. i'm glad we could provide her a few happy months on this earth filled with love and care.
I'm gonna stop now cause i nearly make myself cry again💦

Commission painting. ~Atlantic Canary~
Restricted to the Azores, Canary Islands, and Madeira. Slightly bigger than European Serin and yellow-green overall with a pale bill, and a dark forked tail. Has a streaky rump, but this can be hard to see. Males are greenish-yellow below while females are duller and grayer on the breast and neck. The song is very melodic and rich. Found in forests, plantations, gardens, and orchards, sometimes gathering in flocks. Introduced to the Midway Atoll, where coloration ranges from unstreaked bright yellow to almost white.
