Bigger forearms means bigger upper arms as well! Your main forearm muscle that’s responsible for elbow flexion is the brachialis and it connects all the way up near your shoulder. So if you’re not training your arms with your palms towards the floor you’re missing out on a lot of gains!
People prefer to practice their strengths, often neglecting their weaknesses. This was me. I’ve taken time to work on my weaknesses and start turning them into my strengths.
First you have to know your weakness and ACCEPT it. Once you do, make a plan to help yourself and execute it.
Less than 3 weeks difference between these 2 pictures. Between doing all my workouts and cardio, I never took posing seriously or practiced consistently because I was so exhausted and just done with being at the gym. Until I started working with @teamatlasmtl , I’ve probably sent him over 20 check in videos and he’s always given me pointers to help me look better. With less cardio between shows, I was able to focus on practicing, recovery, stretching and increasing my back flexibility. I also invested in hiring an amazing posing coach @angelinejeanson. Through Skype sessions and sending videos twice a week she is helping me improve my overall package.

Had such an incredible time this week in Vegas at the Olympia! So proud of my athlete @jenniferdorie_ifbbpro for her unbelievable accomplishments this year! Many great memories were made with friends, and I’m grateful to have met many new great people whom are now a part of my life! I can’t wait to do it again next year!

Just recently I started deep breathing after reasearching and learning the many benefits it has. It’s known to be great for mental state but it is also amazing for recovery and growth!
Studies have proven that your CNS should only be elevated for 2 hours of the day.(while you’re working out) any long and it is counterproductive to recovery and growth. Also puts a lot of unneeded stress on your organs and other extremities. By deep breathing and meditating once a day (I like post workout) it allows for your CNS to calm down and come back to balance and wake up your PNS and vagus nerve (rest and digest system) to get into a recovery and growth state. The more your body is stressed the less likely it is for adaptation. .
