Just got in from work, hubby to be has gone out for tea. I've been out on a field on the howling wind and rain. Working out is the last thing I want to do. But. We all know what are macronutrients (If you don't, check out our post on macronutrient) So now let's talk about some benefits of micronutrients.
Micronutrients, as the name suggest "micro" mean small and "nutrient" mean food that you eat. So basically it is an element which our body needs, but in small quantities. Micronutrients consist of Vitamins and Minerals which are essential for human health, growth, bone development,etc. 
Vitamins are generally carbon-containing molecule and are classified as either water soluble or fat soluble. 
Benefits of vitamins and minerals:
1) Micronutrients breaks down carbohydrates,fats and proteins into usable energy.
2) It is use to produce various enzymes in our body.
3) It also helps in production of hormones.
4) It helps us in keeping our metabolism smooth.
5) It also help to repair our damaged tissue.
6) It helps in protecting our brain.

We should try to take our daily intake of micronutrients in the form of food but if we are not able to fulfill our intake. Hence
there are various supplements available in the shop which we can use as an alternative.
