I whipped up my favourite breakfast bowl this morning before I start work. A smoothie bowl fuelled with nutrient-dense goodness ✨ Ingredients: frozen banana, frozen mixed berries, vegan chocolate whey protein, spirulina, vanilla extract & almond milk - topped with goji berries, mixed frozen berries and chia depends. It’s so easy just to throw every into the blender and have a delicious breakfast ready to start my day 💜💜💜
We are all aware that constant complaining brings stress & negativity, affecting your mood. However do you realise it also affects how people perceive you? Sometimes they really don’t look forward to speaking to you or being around you because your negativity brings their mood lower.
Research also shows that this way of thinking physically alters your brain, you re-wire it and train your brain to be in the habit of thinking negatively, to find a problem in everything. It gets to the point that no matter what is occurring in your life your brain 🧠 processes it in a negative way.
To begin to alter your way of thinking & re-train your brain you need to recognise these negative thoughts & challenge them. Not easy to begin with, but through regular meditation techniques or holistic therapies such as Reiki it does happen & you slowly begin to think with a calm and positive outlook 💚

THAT FEELING WHEN THE WEEKEND IS OVER & MONDAY BEGINS 😩
The start of the week can be exhausting. Rather than sprint into your week , shift your morning routine to allow just 7 minutes to yourself. .
Take a few deep breaths (in through nose and out through mouth) & check in with how your body & mind feels. If you have a mind that wanders often imagine your favourite colour is filling up your body as you scan down - it helps to focus your attention.
Don’t judge whatever you feel, simply notice with a gentle curiosity. Good or bad - it’s important to check in with your body, slow your breathing & see how you’re feeling.
Strengthen your mind first thing in the morning and you can much better handle what the week has to throw at you 👊🏻
