My sometimes sleepy eyes... when I was in middle school some wannabe gangsters made fun of my eyes because they said I looked stoned. I had no idea what that even meant at the time or what that had to do with my eyes. Well, I’m never high, I’m just drawn that way😁 runs in the family.
That same year a cholo was sitting next to me, he looked at me and told me my eyelashes were puny... LOL (He was right though)
I didn’t develop a complex over that, nor did I try to plaster on makeup to change the appearance of my eyes. Still, was a long road of ups and downs towards self-acceptance throughout the years.(For other reasons not related to cholos 😉
I had a high school obsession with getting a nose job, I’ll write more about sometime, luckily ended in my teens)
The lesson I’ve learned always remained the same: Self-Acceptance saves time, it definitely saves money, and overall it looks and feels better. 💓#throwbackpic#onelovefestival
Thanks for the shoutout on Sunday 💓 @julssolomon
I love leading, and witnessing such powerful healing through Breathwork. 🌬 It’s an act of self love to show up for yourself, to allow emotions to naturally release and reconnect to joyous energy. In our busy lifestyle our feelings get stuffed away to deal with “later” or possibly never. It brings me great joy to offer a safe place for this process to occur.
Our current political climate and news media does not reflex our deepest truth and highest potential in our souls journey. Very little attention is spent on our creativity and how we can help others. It’s so vital to have communal experiences of inspiration, unity and love. Keep dancing, keep creating art, keep uniting and of course keep with current affairs, doing our part as citizens. Do both ✨
When they go low, vibrate higher 💫
Have a great holiday week! 💞
The air is clearing 🙏🏼💫 Breathwork for Heart Opening rescheduled for this Sunday the 18th. Special focus on grounding before we expand through Breathwork. Link in profile 💞 Proceeds will go to families displaced by the fires. This is a great opportunity to heal and help others... one breath at a time 🌬
Had to postpone this evenings Breathwork group due to very unhealthy air quality. Praying for this fire to be contained, still only at 10% containment. So many homes lost, people and animals displaced, either caught in the fire or barely escaping.
Keep up with your prayers and support! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 and wear masks if you are in the surrounding areas. 😷Photo taken from my friends iPhone! @migrational_lifestyle #woolseyfire#venturafire
Venus is in retrograde stirring up a lot of emotions, showing us where we still have blocks to love. While it may feel overwhelming, this enhanced sensitivity is a great opportunity to release what is unprocessed in you. 🙏🏼 In my class this Sunday evening we’ll be utilizing Pranayama Breathwork to release these emotions and come back to your higher self that is anchored in the present.
In stressful times we naturally want to overthink and ask “why” in order to feel safe, grappling to come up with a solution or explanation, this only adds to our anxiety.
Through Breathwork we can bypass the thinking mind long enough to get back into a feeling state, a state of present moment connection to source, to ourselves, and our heart center. 💓 for class details clink on link in bio 🌬 #venusretrograde#heartopening
These are challenging and chaotic times for many of us. In my next Breathwork class I will be creating a safe space for releasing emotional pain and sadness due to depression, loss/grief, stress, heartache and creating room to receive joy and love.
In unpredictable times it’s not always easy to remain centered, through Breathwork we can let go and come back into our heart space. 💓
