Despite the fact that I've been performing on stage in front of different crowds for a while - I was still chickening out to busk. It's a different animal. But I finally did it today, and I don't plan on stopping. 😊 I finally lived up to my own lyrics:
I'm cinic and naive,
That's why I'm singing
And hoping you will hear
My wishes, and worries,
My failures and glories,
To find out - we're all the same. (If you're tired of the motivational speakers, confessions, and such - Don't read below! ⬇) We all have problems and moments of happiness, no matter the color, gender, origin, or how much money you got in your pocket. Stop thinking that someone has it better - you don't know their story! And worry about yours! It only damages your already not so smart brain. All humans - and none of us is perfect. But what makes us excel and grow is Love and getting Out of our Comfort Zone. Embracing the uncertainty. That's when true knowledge and later wisdom is collected.
I have to give credit to my two beautiful girls, especially the little one. One of the most fearless creatures I've ever seen. Somehow she gives me confidence and a different perspective, almost saying - Live! Stop worrying and just Do It! (Shia Lebouf voice 💪)
I did another one today, and I'm very glad I did! I'm already a different person from the one an hour ago.
I wish you all a big and warm "Just Do it!!!" 😉👌 #change#betterself#busking#artist#singer#songwriter#painter#street#subway#nyc#brooklyn#timessquare#notcoward#ylimit
This is Nick. Nick is the house musician at Magnolia Pancake Haus. Nick played the entire guitar solo from Hotel California behind his back. In a sweater vest. That is all. #latergram#theeagles#busking

This is “When We Were Young” by @adele (please tag her it would mean so much)! Haven’t done a piano cover in ages, had an amazing time busking today with @chlomae_sings so next vid will be a busking cover 💛
Today has been a dream come true. Because of music, I made strangers smile, earned some liras and became friends with Turkish musicians. They're teaching me their magical ways 🧙♀️🎶 The excitement cannot be contained.
Here's a cover I've been working on this past week of Selda Bağcan's, "Zilleri Taktı"
