Focus is a common issue among female founders.⠀
What to focus on and how to keep focussed is a daily challenge for most of us. ⠀
With a million and one things fighting for attention, it can feel almost impossible to get through a day without multi-tasking and frog-jumping from one task to the next.⠀
Did you know, studies have shown that multi-tasking is actually completely counter-productive, that focussing on one task at a time produces better results and provides a framework for you to get through a lot more than you probably think you can!⠀
Focus is a huge topic for us here at LSN - it was the basis for our recent Systems Workshop where we demonstrated some incredible, and free, tools to help business owners find and stay focussed. ⠀
We'll be repeating this workshop throughout the coming year and will also be hosting a few special intensive-workshops, where attendees will actually work through the systems with us, setting-up and refining processes for their own businesses with our support and guidance.⠀
We are also planning our first Goal Setting Workshop in January, taking attendees through an advanced goal setting system and buddying everyone up with Accountability Partners to help us all make 2019 our best year yet! (places for this are extremely limited, DM to get a special invite).⠀
To make sure you find out about the events we have planned follow our FB Page or, better yet, join us and make LSN part of your business journey.⠀
The founder member offer of £15 ends on 31 October, after that it goes up to £20pm, so it really is a good time to get focussed and help your business thrive. ⠀

If you are a teensy bit of a control freak like me, I get how hard it can be to delegate. I mean who is going to be able to do a task like you do right? Plus, by the time you have explained it all, you could have done it yourself.
BUT you just can’t do it all and if you want to be more productive, it pays to delegate. But how?
Start by spending some time keeping a record of tasks you do on a regular basis. Include the seemingly insignificant thinks like answering FB posts and emails, updating your website etc.
Then sit and review your list, you will be amazed how much time you spend on the ‘little stuff’. Now you need to highlight the tasks that can ONLY be done by you. Anything left can potentially be delegated.
Now go through this list and rank each task twice out of 10. Once for simplicity and once for repetitiveness e.g if a task is simple, rank it 10/10 and if it is time consuming rank it 10/10.
Tasks that score highly for both can easily be outsourced and you will be amazed at how much time you will save!
As a #virtualassistant I can work with you on a regular basis to help keep you organised, or I can help with ad-hoc tasks and projects whenever I’m needed.
Get in touch with me at Michelle.email@example.com and I will be happy to discuss your individual requirements.

I think a business is a bit like a shark. It has to constantly move forward or it dies.
I'm a big fan of encouraging people to step outside their comfort zone, testing new things and look for challenges.
And I do take my own advice, well most of the time, and at the end of the day running a business is no place to become complacent.
So today was a real treat for me, I did something I've never wanted to do but booked it so knew was coming.
Yet I procrastinated, my stomach churned and I was sweating as I looked at my phone knowing in a few minutes I would be the focus of a member makeover in my business group. I knew it was going to be a lot of value for me, as Faye always gives great constructive feedback, but I was scared.
I'm grown arse woman 👩 And not even scared about what I was going to hear, but scared because the camera was going to be on!
I don't like being on camera, I don't think I'm any good and my voice sounds weird. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but it does stop me from doing things, like posting up pictures about me and telling you who I am and what I actually do when I work with clients...Soooo I have been challenged to have at least one picture of me up on my social media by the end of this week.
And to bloody well starting telling people who Vanda is 😅😱☺️ So get ready to get to know me, but be warned there's going to be some odd photo's as I mainly pull faces on film 😜
BTW if you haven't heard of @busybusinesswomen Shine membership, you have to check it out, Faye is amazeballs and super supportive.
Give me a HELLS YEAH if you hate listening to your recorded voice
An interesting fact to leave you with - a shark will only attack you if you’re wet 🦈💦🤣🐙 . . . . . . . .

Het frustreert me enorm!
