The Dress is out for another season. This simple @targetaus dress is 25+ years old, belonging to @blackbluepantha back in the day (well before their @tutus_and_tambourines range). It’s cycled through the two big girls after living in storage for years and is now on its last wear in our family before it will be passed on to someone else to love. It’s in perfect condition, no fade, rips or signs of age. I’ll be a little sad to see it leave our family, but damn did we get some wear out of it! #builttolast#thankstarget#itsafamilyfavourite

Really excited to get my hands on these new @dtswiss 350 Hybrid hubs. The hubs have a completely different axle and hubshell configuration to the standard 350 hub, and is specifically designed for eMtb wheels. DT have also introduced a new 24T star ratchet that is compatible with all other DT star ratchet hubs. I'm really impressed by the 4mm thick slightly angled flanges that are just itching for some triple butted DT Alpine iii spokes. The applications for theses hubs is more broad than just eMtbs. They would equally be a great option for anyone wanting a heavy duty cycle touring or bike packing wheelset at an affordable price point. I look forward to building the hubs up soon and doing a more detailed review.
In the current culture of fast fashion, it’s easy for clothing to feel impersonal and lacking in individuality. Our dream here at Lucid Looks is to make personalized, one of a kind, sustainable garments. We strive to bring the human connection back into clothing, by focusing on one-on-one communication and collaboration between our designer and you. Always 100% designed and sewn by hand, to your specific measurements.
So it’s really cool when I have guest stop by the shop. What’s even cooler is when they pull out their wallet and it ends up being one I made almost 3 years ago!!!! Here’s some pictures I took and then the original pictures! #thedustyhide#builttolast @kam_dodson
For the past 9 years, we’ve been going to the same resort for our family vacation. Each summer when we arrive, it feels like another new rule has been put into place. We’ve watched the resort ban pool toys, add a height requirement on the water slide and limit the number of beach towels we could have. Every new rule seemed more ridiculous than the last!
But this year, something was different. Kids were playing with all kinds of toys in the pool. The staff didn’t question us when we asked for more than two towels, and the slide seemed like a total free for all. ..
It was everything I ever wanted until … I got scared someone was going to get hurt on the slide. The resort ran out of clean towels, and I nearly got hit in the head with a football in the pool. ..
I found myself yearning for the way it used to be. ..
What’s up with that? Has this happened to you … you really wanted something, but then when you got it, you wanted it back the way it used to be?
It’s human nature to want what we don’t have even if what we have is what we thought we wanted. After all, we’re curious beings. We don’t stay content for long, and it’s easy to get excited about the possibility of something new.
The old saying “the grass is greener on the other side” comes to mind. It’s our nature to wonder what it’s like on the other side … we begin to create beautiful pictures in our heads of what these greener pastures look like … then we convince ourselves how much better our lives will be on the other side.
But is it really? Is the grass greener on other side of the hill? ⚡️
Maybe. Maybe not. ..
Maybe the grass isn’t even green. It could be orange or purple or polka dot.
The truth is we don’t know what it will be like until we get there. But here’s what we do know ... it will be different.
And different can be good too if we open ourselves up to embracing something new and letting go of trying to compare what was to what is … different gives us the opportunity to cover new ground, explore new possibilities and to have once in a lifetime memory making adventures … like being able for the first time ever to all go down the waterslide together in a train!
Meet 'Clarence' he was very well loved in his past. Unfortunately after his owner past and as the story goes he was forgotten and moved to the basement, but his story doesn't end there.....he has been rescued, his old finish & broken bottom piece are now distant memories!!! (see last 2 pics for before & after of fixed broken piece 😊) #antiques#secretary#treasureholder#secretdrawer#builttolast
***SOLD (Comment to claim 1 of 12)Revive your soldering station with these titanium cross locking tweezers. Unlike the steel tweezers on your bench now, titanium can handle higher temperatures for longer periods of time without you having to worry about your new tool warping or deteriorating. Our favorite thing about titanium tweezers is that they won’t act like a heat sink, making soldering parts close to them a breeze!.

Sometimes life requires old fashioned chocolate chip cookies (vegan of course!🌱) and furthermore, you’re never too old to lick the spoon! This Kitchen Aid stand mixer is four decades old and going strong! #momshandmedowns
Looks like the #minibar is ready for finish! I was initially worried that the 3/8" #stainless rod would be to wobbly without tons of crossbracing. I clearly didn't need to be, if there's ever enough load on this thing to break it there are way bigger problems than a busted bar.
Kaleb made these fancy plant stands 😊👌 he can make other sizes, so I’m trying to convince him to make tiny ones for those that like their little succulents 🤗
