Guys guys guys, I want to stress something that i’ve recently learned. You know me & books, heh 🤓 I used to count macros and I thought I was being oh so healthy because I was always on target with my numbers
I was eating semi clean and got in lots of veggies so I thought I was A-ok in the Nutrition department
Boy was I wrong ☹️ I used to wonder why I would eat and eat and STILL be hungry! It was my body saying “um hello, nutrients? you there?” A lot of foods are over farmed and striped of their nutrients 🌎 so even though we think we’re eating organically great, it’s not as great as it would’ve been 20 years ago
Point. If you’re wondering why your doing all the right things & not seeing or feeling the results, this might be why! This was 100% the reason for me and a total game changer
Get your nutrition up! I promise you’ll feel good, cravings will stop bugging you, trainings will be better & those muscles will be leaner

Mindset is EVERYTHING.
I set the alarm for 0430 this morning.
I don't remember getting out of bed, going across the room, turning my alarm off, and sliding back into bed. I awoke again 3 hours later.
Today is a busy day with appointments and school work + I'm on call at the hospital tonight.
At first I was upset because every hour today is accounted for. But, I slept GREAT and clearly that is what my body needed.
You always have the ability to change your mindset and think about that silver lining!

The macros are fantastic and the recipe is in the picture. Very simple to do, mix wet and dry separately and then together. When done, put it in the fridge for 30 minutes or so. Take it out, roll into balls and microwave for 30 seconds. That's it!

We can hear genetics being discussed in the bbing world moreso than in any other sport in the world and I get asked at least 10 times a week if so and so has good genes. Ussually we say someone has good genetics in regards to their physique, but I believe it's so much more than that. I can't take full credit for this, I'm pretty sure I've read a simmilar article on T-nation once a few years ago but I'll expand and add my 2 cents to the subject. I had to split this one in 2 parts, expect the 2nd part dropping tomorrow!
1. Bone structure - let's face it: if you have wide hips, short arms, long legs and narrow shoulders on a very short frame you're extremely unlikely to make it as a bodybuilder. Obviously, you can shape your physique by putting on muscle in the right places but you can't grow wider or taller so don't expect a future introduction into the hall of fame!
2. Muscle shape and insertions - yeah, you can make your muscles grow but if you have long tendons or no roundness to the muscle chances are it won't look that great. If you could we'd all have arms like Phil Heath!
3. Ability to grow or get extremely lean - now this is where genetics aren't 100% to blame because I believe that anyone can and should grow or get shredded if they work hard for it, unfortunately it comes easier for some than others and there's a limit to how big you can get according to previous 2 segments. A perfect example would be Big Ramy, the man can "easily" be a relatively lean 340+ lbs, most top pros do exactly the same shit he does BUT they can't push it over 300. However, his limiting factor is the fact that he has a hard time getting that thin skin that those same pros get

Here is a HEALTHY BREAKFAST for you!
NUT COOKIES without flour❗️For those who have a sweet tooth ( including me 🙈😋) Ingredients
2 cups of nuts (better hazelnuts or almonds);
350 g of sugar;
½ teaspoon of salt;
4 egg whites
Blend the nuts with the sugar until the state of small crumbs.
Whisk the eggs whites with salt, then gradually add the nut mixture and vanilla while continuing to beat.
Put the mixture on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven to 320 degrees until golden brown (about 30 minutes).
