In a three-legged collaboration between DTU (Technical University of Denmark), KADK (School of Architecture) and NEXT (School of Craftsmanship), new ways of building and new ways of combining materials have been developed and devised. The building module (wall module) is designed to recycle waste construction materials in new building systems. In addition, the module is designed to be divisible and reusable or replaced in smaller components. The components are designed to vary in different aesthetic expressions and therefore interchangeably for different purposes and users over time. The construction system is easy to assemble and divide again and is included in the idea of "design for disassembling"
All in all, the cooperation between engineers, craftsmen and architects has been enormously profitable and exciting 💪 #designfordesassembly#desassembly#assembly#buildingsystem#wallmodule#module#ecologicalwall#eco#designingforsustainability#waste#wastematerial
It's the end of #MEP Giants Week. Thanks for celebrating with us and thanks for the hard work, team. We would have never made it on Consulting-Specifying #Engineer ’s Top 100 list nor completed over 2,000 #buildingsystem designs without you!
By using the state-of-the-art Light Gauge Steel Structure, the company has been providing prefabricated house strong and competitively priced housing units all across the world from its head office and manufacturing unit in Hamriya Free Zone.

Allah menebarkan Rezeki seperti hujan lebat. Tapi mengapa kita dapetnya cuma dikit?
Begitu pertanyaan yang diajukan teman saya.
Jawabannya dua.
MFS III is here!
Located in Bruges in Belgium, in one of the city’s finest parks and lake, Minnewater (Lake of Love), MFS III will be launched this May, 2018 for the Bruges Triennale 2018 Liquid City exhibition.
MFS III is here!
MFS III - ‘Minne Floating School’ is NLÉ’s third prototype and iteration of the Makoko Floating School in Lagos, Nigeria - an innovative structure developed to address the challenges and opportunities of urbanisation and climate change, particularly in coastal African cities.
Following Makoko Floating School (MFS I) built in 2013 and MFS II in Venice 2016, MFS III is a new iteration designed as a fully prefabricated, modular, flat pack, floating building system, with a 25 year design life, based on euro codes for wider regional use.
MFS III is here!
After 7 years of profound commitment and integrity to our work and to people we serve, embracing challenges and prejudice, we are grateful to announce another positive step forward: MFS III.

The structure - re-engineered by AECOM, built by Bruges Triennale team and approved by the local engineers - allows further explorations of efficient design, prefabrication and assembly methodologies of MFS as a unique timber floating building solution, adaptable for various uses. MFS III remains a platform for research, innovation, education and social interventions for water cultures - ‘Learning from Makoko’. It will be adapted in Bruges for six months in a limited capacity as an exhibition space, a workshop and a school - fully programmed by local architecture and design institutions from around the region.

NORTH Hands-on Workshop | Architecture + Design | on "Kath-Kuni" which means wood-corner, is the indigenous building practice system in Himachal Pradesh.
It is earthquake resistant construction technique, holds time-tested lessons and empirical knowledge and skillsusing natural local materials and construction resources : Wood and stone.
The workshop was a 10 days course designed by NORTH for a batch of 40 students of undergraduate students of Architecture from Gujarat. Included interactive sessions with experts, locals, craftspeople, excursions to the traditional villages, measure drawings of Kath-Kuni houses, hands-on learning by making craftsmanship sessions, interactive discussions and an amazing experience.
Thank you all who were part of this workshop. We are planning more workshops for upcoming season. This is a huge support towards @live_north vision and mission.
Get in touch if you want to collaborate for a workshop on local craftsmanship of himalayan region, the indigenous construction system and craftsmanship.
