Empowerment lies in empowering others. One of the more important lessons I learned as a child came from my mother.
One day a beggar knocked on our door looking for a giving hand. Though I was a kid, but I still remember how he looked. He was old, with an untamed beard and tattered clothes. He had a wretched odor, imagine he hadn’t showered in months. He was more likely homeless. I remember how my mommy treated him. I remembered my father inviting him into our home seating him in our home garden, opening the fridge, and feeding him a hearty meal. I don’t remember much more than that, yet my parents actions that day taught me an important lesson, it was a lesson about how to treat others. It was a lesson about empowerment.
True empowerment lies in empowering others. When we operate from a place of humanity, we realize there is much more that unites us than divide us and we move towards building a better tomorrow for everyone.
Plato’s allegory of the cave is one of my favourites, for it is something I have personally struggled with in my life. I seek self improvement each and every day, whether it be enlightenment on a specific topic, or finding new concepts and tools to enhance my life. I naturally want to share the knowledge I gain with those around me. Unfortunately, those we love the most are often the ones who struggle the most to understand. Whether it be due to ignorance, mindset, or simply that they are not ready to make the change that is needed.
Share the knowledge you acquire but accept that those around you may not care to make the efforts you have or that they simply may not be ready for the message you present. I think back to when I was 18 and there are many things I believe and live by today that I would have thought was absolute nonsense back then. There is a time for every message for every person.

Lord knows I’ve been in the valley lately.
My life has been far from perfect and lacking of where I should be with Christ.
I’ve been angry for to long about certain events, deaths & things I felt I should have been “able to control”, silly of me to believe I’ve ever been “in control” of anything in my life.
I don’t wanna be the girl I was when I got my tattoo. I want to be a stronger and more committed follower of Jesus than I ever have been.
Time to get my walk back on track. “How beautiful are the feet of those who carry the good news.” #romans10 :15 #thechurchiswherehispeopleare#jesusandi#buildingabettertomorrow#bygraceihavebeensaved#godhasreasonsforeverything

But seriously, all week I have woken up with more excitement and drive about this business than I ever have before. Big things are happening...really BIG...HUGE 💪🏼. If you have ever had the slightest bit of curiosity about this business, shoot me a message 📲, like this post 👍🏻...just reach out. .
Someone just said to me yesterday what a great “saleswoman” 👩🏻💼 I am when talking about this business. My answer...if you know me well, you would know I would not be sharing this with my friends if this wasn’t something I loved ❤️ and believed in myself. But this is more to me than just sharing skincare I love. This is about building a dream, a better future for my family 👨👩👧👦, and a legacy for my kids. .
Trust me, just pick up the phone ☎️ .
