What's your Broth Recipe? 🤔
Yes I know,
I post a lot of broth pics in my feed but I just love them -Each one is different, I never know what the end result is going to be except that I'm going to feel great drinking them and adding them into our cooking. I already have a veg broth in my fridge&freezer that I had on two nights ago but, well, you can never have too much broth... Today's was my first lot with beef bones. I roasted the bones before adding them and in this broth I also added seedweed 😍
Thermie mums, have you cooked your chooks in the varoma yet?? It was one of the first methods/recipes I tried when I got my quirky cooking cookbook @jowhitton several years ago and it's still a fave. I've adapted it to suit our needs and I use half a chook to steam and use Asian aromatics to flavour the broth below, I have carrot, spring onion, garlic, ginger, thyme and star anise, in the steaming basket with 1.5 litres water with salt and ACV in the bowl. An hour later a perfectly "poached" chicken with amazing Asian chicken broth to be served with buckwheat noodles and broccolini 🙌🏻 #broth#easyas#thermomix#chook#chicken#soup#health#nutrition#nutritionist
Inaraw-araw na namin ang @thegridfoodmarketph! LOL! 🙈😂😋 I will need more will power to resist this place especially when @lachinesca opens here soon! Lobster rolls are still my fave here from @bun_appetit 👍🏼 The lechon stall here by @happyongpauco_tiu is also a good find, she was even the one manning the kitchen personally when I got to order for lunch #thegridfoodmarket#foodislife
#Homemade#vegetable#broth is so easy to make. Simply keep scraps and leftover produce you buy and use for other dishes. Clean and freeze them fresh and when you have a full quart size freezer bag, pull it out and make a batch. If you have some fresh produce in the refrigerator throw some of it in too. Be sure to put some herbs in the mix as well. Each batch is a little different and I ❤️it. It makes a low cost, low sodium broth for homemade soups and/or you can simply drink it straight in place of a sugary drink. It's also a way to waste less which helps the planet. -
I make lots, freeze some, use it in my homemade soups, drink it as is and share it with loved ones. I love having a glass with lunch or dinner.
The ramen for my very first post on this account is Tekkotsu's signature chashu ramen. Its smooth sea salt tonkatsu broth is as savory as it is aesthetic. Four slices of pork acts as the centerpiece for this dish and its softness is contrasted with the crunchiness of the nori. This ramen is the first to take me back to Japan and had me indulge every last bite. A solid 4.75/5 naruto's, will definitely return to fill my stamp card.
Would you believe us if we told you that all these greens were sautéed in Bonafide Provisions bone broth? You should, because we are telling you the truth! Adding bone broth to your veggies is such an easy way to get a nutrient boost without much effort! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! #nourishtoflourish 📷 @fitandwellmedgal
Jinya 📍 Houston, Tx. My alllll time favorite ramen place ever. For starters, I recommend the Creamy Spicy Shrimp Tempura. I always get the spicy chicken ramen with corn and seasoned egg. I love the spice so I get it INFERNO hot or just regular hot!! The spicy chicken comes with boiled chicken (I prefer diced chicken) green onions, bean sprouts, spinach and garlic. I probably eat this at least once a week (oops) but I can’t help it. It’s too delicious 🤗😋🌶 this is one of the few places that has chicken broth and chicken chashu. Fun fact: every time you walk in, the staff yells “welcome” in Japanese!! It’s a very fun and yummy experience.🤤 jinYAAASSS. Yelp’s Rating: 4.5/5. Naz’s Rating: 4.8/5
Went to the farmer’s market yesterday, such beautiful produce here. Making stuffed poblano peppers with brown basmati rice, jelled chicken bone broth, and veggies. The broth will give the dish tons of protein, no meat required. #bonebroth#chickenbroth#broth#brothinyoursauce
