This is one of my favourite photos I have taken this year. The yellow markings are totally accidental. I had just interviewed a desperately interesting contributor for the second time and I managed to be in control of the interview and get exactly what I wanted and was on such a high. There are points on this course where I feel so completely that I am doing what is exactly what I am meant to be doing. Like I have finally found my place in the world. After years of feeling out of kilter with my destiny... I tried to be a visual artist for a long time but couldn’t motivate myself whilst obsessively listening to narrative nonfiction audio. I loved conceptual art but what I really loved was the stories. I moved towards theatre and telling stories with PowerPoint. It was scary taking the step to no visual but now I am here I get how much radio is painting pictures in peoples minds. That my training and my journey to here makes sense/was all important. Ack I am going on. But I love this new medium and being really stretched. Mixed in with the panic about how to do the edit etc are these gorgeous moments of peace and feeling like I can totally totally do this. Like a duckling adopted into a dog litter and getting into water for the first time as an older bird and suddenly getting it. I have been fumbling towards here for a long time.
So yeah. I like this photo a lot. #radiodocumentary#radio#masters#narrativenonfiction#recording#uwe#bristol
The hero of The Prodigy's «The Day Is My Enemy» cover was captured by English photographer Ian Wade. The original shot was made in April 2013 somewhere in Bristol — driving home friday after work Ian was lucky enough to bump into Charlie, the local urban fox. The light was beautiful and Ian was lucky he had his camera in his car as he was photographing Swans show at a lake near his work. The fox only hung around for 2 minutes but Ian managed to get some nice images. So, thanks to the photographer and The Prodigy — the fox became famous!
Ian Wade comments: «I have always loved the Prodigy so when I saw one of my images had been used in the album cover artwork I was over the moon. To have such an Iconic band use one of my images is very special»
The creator of «The Day Is My Enemy» design is Nick McFarlane. It took him months of works, dozens of sleepless nights and over 150 rejected artworks. The final cut was made in summer 2014.

Home is wherever I am with you @felipehponce.
This is what you will always hear from me. Over the years (which by the way will be 5, in a few months) we called so many places “home” but we actually know in our minds that, home is wherever the both of us are together smiling and building up life ❤️
#albufeira was our home for almost 4 years of our time together and though we said goodbye a year ago, I feel we have to do it once again 😭
I can’t think of a perfect way to say that this place has made us happy, we got our first “real job” here, we made friends that we can call family, we bought our first apartment 😱 but now is time for a new adventure !
Thank you #Albufeira thank you #algarve thank you #portugal and above all thank you #God ! .
