Ar vuhez e Breizh (life in Brittany)! It was lovely to get away from my roommates for a few weeks and spend time in beautiful Bretagne, drinking copious amounts of wine and trying out my Breton whenever I could, but I came back just in time to pull my roommates both back from the precipice. Tew I found scouring the trash for crumbs since she had apparently eaten everything in the apartment within 2 hours of my leaving. She would've eaten it all sooner but she had apparently been busy cat-calling the driver of the ice cream truck for 90 minutes. Gwennig, on the other hand, had become delirious since in my absence no one told her to stop reading and eat some grass every once in a while. I came in to find her having a flirtatious one-sided argument with the ram drawing on my dinner mat about the stoicism espoused by Epictetus vs. that of Marcus Aurelius. After I saved my friends and they returned to normal, Gwennig reprimanded me about leaving them alone with the following Aretha Franklin lyrics: "I ain't no psychiatrist, I ain't no doctor with degrees. It don't take too much high IQs to see what you're doing to me." #Breizh#Bretagne#Brittany#PenArBed#Finistère#Brezhoneg#Breton#fatcat#philosophermutton#starvingfatcat#delirious#epictetus#marcusaurelius#neworleanssaints#bélier#arethafranklin#arethafranklinthink#montroulez#morlaix#pharedelilevierge
We found this today. The gentleman mentioned Celtic symbols in his French conversation. I really need to learn the language here. The things I can learn from people. I wonder what the lampshades are made off.
