Eating for fat loss... whether you wish to lose a few pounds or have a bigger weight loss goal, exercise provides a healthier way to burn excess calories. The problem is that even if you workout daily, it is hard to lose weight through exercise alone. Increasing your activity will speed up your fat loss, but you also need to make some changes to the way you eat. What I have found with my clients is to reduce total calories slightly WITHOUT compromising their intake of essential nutrients. In practice, this means adjusting their carbohydrate intake and making dietary changes where needed that are sustainable. So focus on what your body was designed to eat, not processed foods and adjust carbohydrate intake to suit your exercise program. It's a matter of listening to your body, responding to your appetite cues and eating and the amount of food you need. So what should I eat?. In all of our courses we talk about pain relief options, assisted and caesarean birth, what to expect and what relaxation techniques you can use to keep calm, in sometimes very stressful situations and unfamiliar environments. I always advise to make a plan for early labour and A, B and C births, that way whatever happens on the day you will know your options, feel more prepared and be able to feel calmer and more relaxed ❤️ .

You all know my love for blondes and throughout that love affair I have found what works best for me and my blonde babes:
1) After their initial appointment (I almost always suggest that they get a FULL highlight- that way they are evenly blonde throughout their hair for their first appointment) I shadow their root for a soft grow out and gloss their ends to their desired tone of blonde.
2) 4-6 weeks later they come back for a shadow root and gloss and a clarifying treatment for those who tend to have hair that soaks up the impurities in their water at home. This means they are going EIGHT to TWELVE weeks (2-3months) without putting any lightener on their hair.
3) Send them home with @myblndn Brighten Me and usually @unite_hair ULuxury Conditioner and @olaplex
This is what works for me, all stylists have their own ideas of what works best and that doesn’t mean anyone is wrong- we just all figure out different routines that we prefer.
This super sweet lady has been bothered by her smokers lines in the upper lip region for years. She finally took the plunge and approached us at FaceKind to do something about it!
Smokers lines can be quite tricky to completely remove and often require combination treatments with e.g. lasers, peels and microneedling for a significantly noticeable difference.
Here we have kick started this lady's treatment using belotero balance - a beautifully soft filler which had provided an instant reduction in wrinkles as well as hydration (some swelling present post procedure)...too much volume in this area can also result in an unnatural looking appearance so care is required.
The remaining filler was used in the vermilion border of the lips to provide structural support - almost like scaffolding.
Team this treatment with dermal fillers in the lip body, mouth to chin lines and smile lines and you're on to some serious perioral sculpting 😊
MEAL PLANS ⬇️ So, over the last week or so I’ve had a few people ask if i'd write them a meal plan.
Heres 4 reasons why I’ve messaged you all back to say i don’t do “meal plans". 1:
Meal plans teach you fuck all except that you just eat what's written down on the plan. Usually mega restrictive of anything you enjoy and not sustainable unless you follow that plan forever. Most of the time its the same generic meal plan thats being given to you anyway.. i guess its a quick and easy way to make money for some trainers.
You've already got a diet, it's what you eat each day. If you're looking to lose weight then it's more than likely you're current diet includes too bigger portions containing to many calories. You just simply need to manage the foods you eat a little bit better. You don’t need a meal plan.
Half the time, you're not going to stick to it anyway. There's way to many temptations out there. If you focused more on including enjoyable food and managing the amount of it you ate rather than restricting them all, you'd probably find less need to binge.
Any prescriptive meal plan is outside of a 'PTs' scope. Only dieticians should be providing people with prescriptive meal plans. ⬇️ Sorry guys, id rather educate you and teach you how you can manage your current diet to get results instead of just writing out a list of foods for you to follow.
Im not here to put your life on hold and tell you that you can’t eat chocolate or drink beer etc.. I’m not here to restrict you from certain food groups and promote bad eating habits.

Holiday Pay! If you like Pina Coladaaas... I always get that song in my head when talking about holidays.
Anyway, a common problem we see is employers being unsure of holiday pay.
Almost all UK workers are legally entitled to holiday pay. Generally a full time worker is entitled to 5.6 weeks of paid annual leave per year.
Part time employees and employees who work irregular hours are also entitled to paid leave using a pro rata calculation.
Lots of business owners don’t factor holiday pay in to their calculations especially when in a lot of industries you have to pay another staff member to cover the employee who is on holiday. It’s worth working out and factoring in to your finances.
