The lightning tree!! This guy got struck by a lightning and saved by his girlfriend who performed a life-saving CPR on him weeks after learning it!!!
18-year-old Isaiah Cormier and his girlfriend Juliet Moore (@j_moo_re) were camping and on the second night of a two-day camping trip on Saturday, they returned to their campsite, knowing rain was expected in the area.
They started hearing a bit of thunder.
As Cormier finished stashing away some of their camping items in Moore's car in preparation for the storm, lightning struck nearby and a clap of thunder boomed. Seconds later, another strike sounded even closer, prompting Moore to go in the tent.
Moments later, a flash of light flooded the campsite.
She called out to her boyfriend and stuck her head out of the tent. She saw Cormier lying face down on the ground.
She rolled him over and clearly noticed something was wrong. She checked for the heartbeat, checked for breathing, didn’t see either and started cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with chest compressions and artificial mouth-to-mouth ventilation.
He gasped and woke up… but stopped breathing again.
Proper CPR technique was fresh in Moore's mind, as she had taken a class on the lifesaving method just a month earlier.
After Moore provided rescue breaths for the second time, Cormier's chest began rising and falling as his lungs filled with air, but only briefly.
A man camping nearby heard her screaming for help and came to assist and they loaded Cormier into Moore's car.
She was able to find enough cellphone signal despite being in the mountains to dial 911, and by happenstance an ambulance was in the area because a nearby caller that had requested medical assistance ended up not needing to be transported.
She drove to meet the ambulance and transferred her boyfriend into the care of paramedics.
He woke up in the ambulance shortly after. The lightning entered through Cormier’s neck and out his right foot.
They said they hope their story will inspire others to take a CPR class, as it can unexpectedly make the difference between life and death.

Your Inner #Buddha is peace quite love and awareness. He let's you know who you really are. Your Inner Buddha shows you your weaknesses by thoughts within your mind, often cover over emotional wounds from our past, which take the form of negative thought patterns. This is the voice of the hurt child.
The ego does however help to show us where we are holding unresolved emotional blockages.
Spend some time in meditation watching your thoughts, simply noticing the difference in quality of thoughts.
You may have a superficial thought such as, “I’m lousy at #meditating ,” this could be a #thought that has a strong negative charge behind it that plays like a broken record in our minds. That show us where our deepest wounds might be located.
MEDITATION WITH MALAS
If you have found #meditation difficult, it may be easier to use a #mala while repeating a #mantra . .
Sit comfortably, #grounding your sitting bones with your #spine comfortably erect. You may sit on the floor, a cushion, or a chair.
Put your mala in your right hand with one of the #beads next to the tassel between your thumb and middle finger. Close your #eyes and feel you are #gazing through the middle of your forehead, between your eyebrows.
Take 3 deep #breaths , feeling the #air fill your body. Continue long deep #breathing as you begin saying your mantra. Once you have said your mantra #108 times, hold your mala between both hands in front of your #thirdeye and take 3 more breaths. Come back to your #surroundings gently.

Happy Monday Moms, just wanted to wish you all a great week. Love this phrase as it serves as a reminder of where I want to place my attention and therefore my energy... it’s a choice albeit not always easy!! I try to focus on peace, rather than stress and my long to do list. Don’t always get it right but keep reminding myself and sometimes have a win and am able to redirect my energy 👍
A tip first thing in the morning before you jump out of bed is to do a quick check in with yourself/your body before the demands of the day begin. A few deep breaths and scan of or body always helps 🙌💜😘 this can be extended throughout the day especially if you feel your energy dipping... always remember you matter... 🙏
Do you take time out throughout your day...
And there they were. . .
Stuck on that unknown road, under a tree hardly protecting them from rains. . .
Two cups, one in his hand another in hers. . .
The cupful of tea and soulful of feelings. . .
He saw a crack on her cup and silently leaned in. . .
Baffled, a bit afraid, with raising heartbeats she looked into his eyes. . .
He silently took that cup from her hand, gave her his. While he didn't notice, his fingers touched hers. . .
Magic of love, as they say, is inexplicable. That day she understood why!
She explicitly remembers how he couldn't take his eyes off her confused soul while doing that. . .
She still remembers how she could feel his warm breaths in that chilling cold. . .
She still remembers how their eyes lowered when her cell rang, breaking that moment. . .
And there they were. . .
Silent. Looking at the pouring rains. . . Hardly looking at each other. . . They didn't need words. . . The cup of tea was enough to do the wonder. . .

One human life.
And so we breathe life.
God breathes and each and every one of us, is breathed life.
This life, living, is God’s breath out into us.
All of us.
Surely, I shall die.
This surely I can love.
Surely, I shall depart.
This surely, I can love.
God will breathe back in,
The breath out which created me,
And I shall feel it calling like the wind has come right out of me,
And I shall leave this place and time,
This surely I can love,
inhaled by God back in,
through the clouds,
A simple gust,
And God shall take me back as breath, as life, back into
I shall be breathed back by God,
And I shall, feel home inside the heart of Love.
The very breath of God,
Each and every One of us,
Are breaths of God,
That keep God and us alive.
God is Breathing us.
I Am here now, as this breath in form,
And yes, to breath I shall return,
Until I Am breathed again,
Life, to live as breath again.
As days and nights,
As lover’s kiss,
As best friend’s hug,
I Am all things,
All things I Am,
I Am one human life. *
Some may not understand.... even, others may criticize; but, for me this was an highlight of several weeks is south Florida.... and, know this, until you grab on commit and engage with a tug; there is no way to understand or comprehend - JUST - how much NOTHING compares to the raw power of an highly adapted jurassic holdover 🦎 on its turf and in his element - simply an amazing experience.
Endemic, isolated, saprophytic, crepuscular, fossorial, and #waytomany critically #endangered - #florida had it all; I could not get enough.
Airboats at midnight, spotlights in the swamp, chasing invasive exotic snakes 🐍 doing much damage, charismatic avian superstars more at home in equatorial waters, and every type of biting insect possible.
I (re)learned EXACTLY what “96 feels like 104” actually means, and loved salty evenings, fish tacos, headlamps and eye shine, chasing egg laying hard-shells at the wetted edge, and endless sunsets 🌅.
I am soon to return; but, I will not soon forget these steps and breaths !
